Nothing really. They could do with their own bar but it wasn’t too much of an issue as there is a bar just a two minute walk from the property.

The property was in a great location so close to the rain forest and the tents were located by the river which was great to look out on sitting on the veranda. The staff were great and tried to help us with any of our needs such as arranging a hike. The food was good especially enjoyed the buffet on the first night.

It’s about 30 minutes from Deniyaya by tuk-tuk, costing at least 2,000 LKR one way. The price of the room was a bit overpriced for the quality of the services provided in general. There were three men working there—while they were polite, as a solo female traveler I would have felt more comfortable if at least one female staff member had been present. I also would have appreciated clearer communication on average tour prices and durations, rather than just being handed local contact numbers. It also would’ve helped if they had arranged the tuk-tuk more reliably for our early morning departure—thankfully, we didn’t miss the bus.

The chalet and pool were nice and clean. The restaurant was very basic, though they mentioned it was due to ongoing renovations. There was no menu available, but the prices for Sri Lankan food were reasonable. The property is located about 100 meters from the forest entrance, where you can find a local guide—expect to pay around 5,000 LKR for a 4-hour tour, plus the entrance fee.

Pity there was no air con, but it is an eco-lodge after all!! But the fans certainly helped.

Great location. Exceptionally helpful staff. Guided tour of the forest was excellent, English speaking guide was particularly good, enticing all wonderous rainforest creatures large and small to venture out. A great rain forest experience - even to the green tree pit viper in the tree just outside the dinning area - quiet a sighting.

Not the easiest to access by car/van.

Amazing location, staying directly in the beautiful rainforest. The pool was really good after a trek through the Singharaja park. Wildlife all around you. Going to sleep and waking up to the sounds of the rainforest especially in the tent accommodation.

Spectacular jungle wildlife experience staying in tent and incredible Sinharaja trek

    • Stayed 1 night

We stayed in 360 Rainforest so we could do the Sinharaja Forest trek. We stayed one night in one of the tents. It had incredible views over looking the river and the rainforest canopy beyond. If you want an authentic experience of being in the rainforest with all the bird and monkey wildlife around you, and a few smaller critters even closer, then this is the place for you! Close by is a hostel which can play loud music at times but we realised that before booking and it didn't bother us at all. The unique feeling of being right in the jungle with the incredible wildlife and views around you is what is amazing about this beautiful place. The manager, James, was extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for him. The food we had in the evening and morning was very tasty. Being right next to the park entrance means you can just walk 5 mins with your guide and you are in the amazing rainforest. Our guide Domidu was superb, he made sure we saw masses of wildlife and he was very knowledgeable. We saw a few birds (you need to start at 6am to see more), two types of monkey and lots of snakes, lizards, scorpions, spiders and millipedes - all up close! The walk we did was ‘out and back’ to a beautiful waterfall with a pool you can swim in and for us it took 4 hours in total. The 360 Rainforest tent and the Sinharaja rainforest trek was a very unique and memorable experience in our 2 week trip around Sri Lanka.

Food is very, very tasteful but the restaurant area can be improved.

The manager James is extremely helpful and flexible to help us with our stay and onward travels during our stay in the 360 rainforest lodge. The location is perfect next to the river and at walking distance from the Sinharaja rainforest. The guide we used had such a sharp eye to spot wildlife and point it out to us. The next day he took us to another entrance to find the Blue Magpie and Drogon and we also saw the Purple Faced Monkey. the swimming pool is very refreshing after jungle trekking.

The hostel that played thumping tunes until midnight is just crazy. Sitting on the edge of a unique rain forest hearing birds and frogs and rain being drowned out by music is insane. This is NOT only 360’s issue but all the accommodation in this valley would be affected by it. What a pity for everyone in the area. This is not the place for it.

Great location on the edge of the rain forest with a very short walk to the main entrance. The pool was stunning! The staff bent over backwards to help with anything at all and the food was absolutely sublime! Our chalet was rustic and lovely although we did have some electricity challenges but it’s the jungle! It was amazing to sit outside in the evening and watch the storms roll through.

The last two kilometres of road are bumpy and narrow but the hotel arranges for a Tuk Tuk to come and collect you

Tranquil location in rainforest surrounded by the sounds of the rainforest and animals . Swimming pool was set up high surrounded by the forest . Staff were very accommodating. Went on a great guided walk and swam in the river . Great place for a yoga lesson too. 3 mongoose came up to our door this morning . Accommodation is not luxury but very clean .

Only issue was stray dogs coming inside the property even we closed the gates. They jump over the fence. Recommend to have proper gates and fence to avoid that issue.

Staff wad friendly and arranged the meals as we requested. Food was delicious. Very calm and quiet place to relax with your family. Bathrooms were clean.

Worth getting until there, even if the journey could be hectic at the end because very tiny road: important to tell the driver.

Good property very near to Sinharaja Rainforest. You can enter the Forest walking distance with a guide whom you can book from the hotel. Very quiet and simple place. You can have rest, enjoy the nature, the calm. The team is kind.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of wild dogs on the grounds that bark and howl loudly at each other, which I personally found quite annoying. The cabin is not in the best condition, the fan on the ceiling was so loud that I could not use it, but I was immediately organized another standing fan. The last few meters of the road to the accommodation are also a bit difficult to pass - my TukTuk driver made it, but you should be aware of this.

The manager and his team were very friendly, courteous and attentive. The food was okay and served in front of my little cabin, which was very pleasant! The location is also great, right at the entrance to the reserve, on the edge of the jungle, so there were often visits from (nocturnal!) animals. The pool with a view of the jungle was exceptionally beautiful, I was very lucky to have it all to myself during my 2-day stay. I was also arranged a tour with a guide in the jungle, which I really enjoyed!

Street to the location is a pretty broken Service needs improvement, we ordered dinner which came 30 minutes late. Same with breakfast. In the accommodation next to this one was a party until 3 am. That was pretty exhausting but we don’t know if this is a common problem or if it was a special occasion. WiFi and the fan were not the best. AC would be great

Great location, nice pool. Had a great guide for a rainforest walk.

We stayed in tents, there’s a restaurant in 50 meters from it which was really loud because of live music till 23-00 or so. The staff was really slow, we waited to pay for our room for 20 minutes. The food in the restaurant was ok. Very cold in the nights, had to ask for the second blanket

It was rather noisy from another group of guests elsewhere on our first night which spoilt the ‘back to nature’ expectations. The restaurant was a little disappointing. We didn’t see as many varieties of birds as we’d hoped. But we still loved our stay.

Breakfast was generous and very nice. Although it was difficult to get to because the road was closed once there the location was minutes from the gate into the rainforest. We had an amazing guide who was very knowledgeable and lovely. He pointed out things we would never have seen without him. It cost 25 dollars per person organised by the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The tents were fantastic, no zips , no insects, lovely position overlooking the river. Although it took us 3hours to get there from the coast we would strongly recommend a visit.
