Lunch and dinner options are only few, and quite expensive. Ordering drinks and food can take a little while. There's a massive amount of crows in the yard, which can make a lot of noise at times. Same applies to a lot of places in sri lanka.

Staff was great, greeting us with a welcome drink and saying goodbye with one as well. They were friendly and always with a smile. They also agreed to an extended checkout which we requested, without extra payment. Pool is very clean and properly maintained. Room is huge, with a proper bed and rainshower. WiFi is fast.

Location was quite remote. We had a rental car so it was not an issue but not much exploring to be done without transport. On the other hand if you are after a quiet and away from it all location then this was/is perfect.

The staff were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. The food and quality of cooking were of a very high standard although maybe a touch pricey when compared to restaurants nearby.

We had a fantastic 4-day stay at Soluna Beach Resort! This place is perfect for families, and the staff goes the extra mile to ensure comfort. Our kids loved the pool, especially with the inflatable toys provided. The resort also treated us with free afternoon snacks and complimentary bottled water every day. The attention to detail and family-friendly atmosphere made it a memorable stay. We highly recommend it for families looking for a relaxing beach getaway! The even let us stay in the room for free until the evening before our flight.

The staff are Soluna truly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Everyone was so attentive and friendly, like we havent seen in 3 weeks of our vacation. The room we stayed in was seriously huge and beautifully decorated with a nice view towards the pool and ocean. The pool itself is well maintained and big enough to really swim for a while. Would definitely come again and would recommend everyone to visit Soluna for a relaxed start or end to your Sri Lanka vacation!

EVERYTHING ! The room, the resort, the location, the pool & most of all the amazing hospitality of the staff. They treat you like family. The owner Rodney was absolutely incredible and all staff go above and beyond. We have been travelling for 2 weeks in Sri Lanka so far and stayed in many places but this one topped everything.

A bit out of the at but suited us as we were headed north the next day. May not suit those who want access to shops and places to eat.

The cabana is spacious and clean. We were presented with a welcome drink and great hospitality even though we were very late in arriving due to a missed connection. Room was spacious for a family with 2 teenage children.

We had a very pleasant stay at Soluna Beach Resort. Staff went above and beyond to ensure we were enjoying our time there. We loved lazying in the pool to recharge our batteries for a few days before flying back home. Good option to end a tour of Srilanka.

Our room was on the ground floor with very large windows. So, everybody could look into it and one had to close all curtains whenever in the room.

Very nice and quiet spot at the clean, beautiful shore. Very nice garden with large pool. We enjoyed watching the fishermen at work all day long. Excellent food and very nice staff.

As long as you want peace and quiet this place is great. There isn’t much going on in the vicinity!

The location was fantastic right on the beach which is sandy and ok for swimming but is really the domain of the fishing community who work tirelessly to bring in their haul each day. Really interesting to watch them and admire their catch. The beach is totally undeveloped for tourists but the hotel pool is great and we were well looked after. Lovely breakfasts and fresh fish evening meals. This hotel is better than the descriptions we have seen and excellent value for money.

The water coming out of the faucets and shower was salt water, which was off putting We order lunch and dinner and the quality was average. Meals are cooked at a nearby restaurant. At lunch, our fish which we shared was not fully cooked, and we had to send it back. Dinner was slightly above average. Breakfasts are made on site I think and were very nice.

The food was excellent at all meals and the location magnificent -- right on the beach with a beautiful pool. Pathun was extremely helpful and recommended a restaurant to us (Kopi Kade) which was a wonderful experience. The room was glorioius -- huge and beautiful and comfortable, but, as we booked at the last minute and it was the only room left, it was the one without a view. No big deal. All the staff were amazing, Pathun looked after us mainly but everyone deserves a mention. Food served on site was lovely just ask for what you like and the guys will accommodate you. Make sure to spend a bit of time on the beach to see how the local fishermen go about bringing in their catches.
