Perfect location and lovely hosts. The summer house is just 5min walking away from all the main things in Mirissa. However, it is quiet and you feel like you're sleeping in the forest.

The location was really nice, out of the noise only 10 minutes walk by Mirissa beach. The family was very lovely and helpful and they prepared really nice breakfast every day. The area closeby is nice and you can hear squirrels, birds and peacocks around the neighbourhood.

I was planning to rent a scooter for the last day, they told me that i could have rented the one they had, cheaper than an agency. So i woke up at 5am because i wanted to go far to see the sunrise and other beaches, but i could’t rent the scooter because the wanted to keep my passport for the whole day. Usually renting places take photos of the documents, they don’t keep documents. This was a little bit strange, and also for this reason i couldn’t go anymore to that place.

The room was nice and comfortable. The house is very close to main beach of Mirissa, so the area it’s plenty of restaurant, shops and food markets.

Close to the beach, shops and restaurants. The family is really welcoming and friendly, they even let me check in earlier which was extremely convenient. The neighbourhood is also great and safe;)

It is not so far from the main street but it is a rather dark alley at night and there are many dogs that throw themselves at you, in addition that every time I wanted to go back in tuk tuk or motorbike in google gives another location and I got lost many times (the owner went to look for me twice) the man is very nice and responds to messages, but the woman is another story, I have asked them for poison to kill a cockroach that I found in the room and also be able to eliminate a little ants but the reaction of the Woman was super rude even saying that it was my fault and that I had to leave the place. In addition to the communication problems due to the language. There are also two older adults who sleep and take care of the property but after 6 or 7 in the afternoon they close the door with a lock and you have to knock on the door, which seems a little restrictive to me since if you go out at night and come back in the early morning you have no way to enter the house.

For the price it’s fine, the place is clean but there are many ants in the room and also in the bed.

2 young married couple owner of this property but they not living here. They told me their parents living here. So they are old people and not care very well about cleaning because i took some pictures you can see. Also not mosquito net on the bed. I stayed only 1 night

The table fan is a big mistake, in a place like mirissa very hot . Only problem is this . And in the way at night to room lot of dogs are there it scared me to and fro . I am afraid of dogs if you are fine with this then no problem. Again table fan is not a good option , in that location.

Nightmare! I stayed here 8 nights, my big mistake I payed all advance. I extended on booking.com after make 3 nights but they didnt accept online for no pay more commission to booking.com but Its not my business, its something between booking.com and them. Sleeping, impossible. bed creaks at the slightest movement in bed Shower, not possible, bcs most of the water leaks out of the broken hose before it reaches you. There are two ways to get here from the main road. 1 road 6 corner, other 9 corners. I hope your mobile battery no finish after darker, bcs you may probably step on dogs lying on the road. The thing that saddens me the most is, after check-in I want soap and toilet paper, she gave me used soap (not hygienic), 1 day after they took toilet paper back. They said they would fix the bad creaks and the water problem in the shower, but they didnt. They said they would do it every day but they didn't. They made fun of me. About breakfast, they didnt offer me:) Yes you can say "why you didnt want" hey! There is no another guest at place, how I can disturb a housewife while she is doing housework. About room, all kind of bug. When I made the payment on the first day, they said they would give me the change the next day, but I was only able to get it on the day of check-out, despite asking several times. 8 nights, same towel, same sheet. Internet doesnt work good my staying period, maybe they fixed after me.

No AC, just ventilator really hot inside, no place to hang your clothes, lots of ants in the room, bad water pressure. Location not far away from the city centre but the road is abandoned and lots of dogs. One evening I can't go to shop because of dogs

The WiFi wasn’t working. The owner said she is going to fix it but she never did. If you want to use the kitchen, you need to pay. It’s really hard to find, they have the wrong location in the Google maps. So I had to call her for the directions. There are no mosquito nets on the windows but there is one for your bed.
