Super new location very clean with proper furniture. Staff was extremely kind and helpful. Super nice terrace with view on Kandy lake

18 minutes walk to the center and the lake. The owners are exceptionally nice and attentive to the details. Clean. Nice breakfast.

Nothing really bothered me. Maybe one point as a feedback to the owner that would be nice if there is more ventilation in the corridors to remove the cooking smell.

Outstanding view, large spacious room, comfy beds, amazing breakfasts. They kindly arranged an early breakfast for us and tuk tuk to the train station. Thanks for a great stay!

The terrace balcony was the highlight of this place, offering a beautiful spot to relax. The stay was very comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. The property manager was one of the best I have come across. I would also recommend trying Kandy Muslim Hotel during your stay—it has some of the best food, hands down. The washroom was clean, the water pressure great, and the bath very soothing. The property also offers a nice view and is conveniently close to restaurants if you would prefer not to head toward Kandy Lake.

Perfect location just outside the busy city center (near the viewpoint) but within walking distance (15 minutes downhill; uphill is walkable, but a tuk-tuk is also an option :-) Very clean and tidy rooms, large and comfortable bed, new quiet air conditioning, and a good shower. A very friendly owner. We thought we'd had the best breakfast before, but this one surpassed the previous one :-)

Exceptional stay. A perfect room with a balcony and terrace attached. Extremely comfortable. Absolute highlight is the breakfast, probably the best we had during our travels in Sri Lanka.

The property has one of the great views of Kandy lake as it's located on bit top. The rooms are luxurious and have all the facilities. Prabhat ensured that out stay is peaceful and prepared delicious breakfast for us for 2 mornings. It's a modern stay with homestay facilities.

The host and hostess were extremely helpful and made us feel vey welcome. The location was also very convenient for sightseeing. The views from the terrace and rooms were just awesome. The Sri Lankan breakfast was such a special touch. Our rooms and bathrooms were very clean and modern.

The breakfast was brilliant, the location was great as it was easy to walk down the hill into the city and they helped us with arranging a tuk tuk early to get to the train station!

Nothing not to like, perfect for a short stay. Friendly owners and staff, clean and comfortable. Even had a needle and thread when I needed to fix a hole in some trousers! Very responsive. Also lovely breakfast and views. Would stay again.

This is new property, which was opened only 18 months ago. The owner, a very kind and supportive gentlemen, must be congratulated on having created such a wonderful guest house. I booked a deluxe room, with a small balcony and a terrace across the floor. The room was super-clean, with a king-size bed and a wonderful cover. There is a little desk, if you want to write your diary or read. The bathroom is also very stylish. I took breakfast in the guest house. It is Sri Lankan and well prepared. I also noticed a state-of-the-art machine for purifying water. The owner gave excellent advice regarding sightseeing. Of course, everybody will visit the Temple of the Tooth and the minor temples and shrines surrounding it. However, do not miss the stunning Botanical Garden about 6-8 km outside Kandy, which I visited on recommendation by Sun Dove. I had dinner in the very good restaurants just 200-300 meters down the hill. One tip: Sun Dove is near the top of a hill, and guests with mobility issues would have difficulties to climb. Use Uber in Kandy, allowing you to book a tuk-tuk or car for just a couple of dollars. No problem within town, but tuk-tuk drivers tend to decline a ride to the periphery of Kandy, like the Botanical Garden, for the price Uber prescribes. Many want to sell you their own little tours or charge almost the double price. It may be worth taking a car for a few more dollars and avoid negotiations. In Colombo, you can rely on Uber and quoted prices, and of course you always give a little tip. Even if you do not use Uber, they give you the real price of any ride and therefore a base line for negotiations with tuk-tuks.
