Beautiful views from all the parts of the hotel, nice homemade breakfast

We had a wonderful time at Sunstyle Mirissa! The room was basic but spacious, with a charming old-style feel that I personally loved- high ceilings, wooden roof beams, and a lovely canopy bed. The room stayed naturally cool throughout the day, and the AC worked well too. The highlight for us was the beautiful balcony with a sea view, the perfect place to sit back, relax, and enjoy quiet moments with your loved one. Since we visited during the off-season, the area was peaceful and not crowded, which we really appreciated. It's also just a short walk to Coconut Tree Hill. The hosts, Assi and his mother, were incredibly warm and welcoming. Assi even arranged access to the kitchen so we could cook our own meals, which was a big plus. He also shared lots of useful tips from where to shop for groceries to how to get around and which places are worth visiting. What truly stood out was the genuine hospitality, you can feel they really care about making your stay special. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Mirissa, it’s a place with soul, great value, and kind-hearted hosts.

The bed could use some repairs, as it was a bit squeaky, and the shower water pressure was quite low. That said, these were minor inconveniences compared to the genuine and sincere hospitality we received from the hosts.

I highly recommend this guesthouse! Fantastic staff with many recommendations, great location, excellent views from the balcony. They even served breakfast on the balcony and decorated the room and balcony as it was my birthday. Thank you again!!

Good location, the staff was really helpful and kind! The room was very good, I had a balcony and the room was spacious and clean, with a good mosquito net. Actually there were no mosquitos at the hotel, all the windows and doors closed properly! Thank you!

Very hot with just the fan. Owner was a bit all over the place and quite expensive compared to the rest of Sri Lanka

The host is super friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious! If you’re on a budget, this is a great option for you, but do yourself a favor and get an AC room. Coconut tree hill a 4 min walk away

I didn’t like the location at the main road and even if it’s clean, expect visitors so bring some cockroach spray. It’s very basic, so you get what you pay for.

Assi is an excellent host. The guesthouse was wonderful and excellent location.

Assi and his family are very kind hosts. Breakfast is excellent and generous, almost enough to feed me for the whole day. There's plenty of hot water in the shower, and the wifi is fast and reliable. My room didn't have A/C. It wasn't a problem for me, but if it's important, check in advance. The location is very convenient, the beach is just across the road.

The guest house is on the main road, which is very busy and noisy.

The street is a bit noisy. Despite the room was clean, like in many other Asian countries, you have to be prepared to find some of insects, like cockroaches.

We enjoyed our stay very much, we can recommend the accommodation. The family is incredibly nice and helpful. We would love to come back and already miss the great breakfast and the coffe next door.

Host was really friendly and gave us excellent restaurant recommendations. He even offered us breakfast on a couple of the mornings which was very sweet! Rooms were huge, clean and had a great view from the balcony. A great place to chill out after a day on the beach. Good central location opposite the beach.

Spacious and nice room, great location and lovely balcony view from the last floor. Very kind and helpful host (Assi) and great homemade breakfast. Warmly recommend!
