Very attentive and friendly staff, we felt spoiled. The view was amazing. We stayed with a toddler and found the property to be a great choice. The only noise you hear is the ocean. They helped us organise any trip we were interested in and we were very happy with every recommendation. Highly recommend.

Wonderful villa (as in pictures), few rooms, high standard accomodation. The beach is AWESOME (even if the ocean is often rough) pure nature you can walk for km without meeting tourists.

I suggest little improvement in the quality of the towels (beach and rooms)

This boutique hotel is a true treasure on the southern coast of Sri Lanka. Nestled right by the ocean, the property offers an intimate and serene atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. With only a handful of rooms, the experience feels wonderfully personal and private - perfect for anyone seeking peace and quiet away from the usual crowds. The cuisine deserves special praise. Every meal was a highlight of the stay - freshly prepared with local ingredients, beautifully presented, and infused with authentic Sri Lankan flavors. From the seafood straight from the ocean to the vibrant curries and tropical fruits, dining here is a culinary journey that pairs perfectly with the coastal setting.

Peaceful haven. Pretty much had the place to ourselves which was great, not sure it’d be the same experience if it were busy. The staff were so lovely - from our waiters to the security guard! The a la carte menu was reasonably priced and portion sizes were generous. Our room was also huge!

Beautiful hotel with a great atmosphere. Amazing location by the sea and very comfortable beds.

    Tours offered were disappointing.

Decoration of the hotel public areas, pool and the access to the beach. Food in the restaurant and breakfast was good. I liked the beach (long and clean)

Our room was on the first floor with limited view to the ocean and the furniture was taken all the space in the room. Lighting was limited. Room on the second floor was much better with more light and space Sunbeds were quite old and limited

Super quit relaxed place. Great staff and nice pool for kids.

Quit a lot of Mosquitos. We payed 175$ instead of 590$ for our room. I would not have payed 590$ so value for money is abit off. 175$ is a great price for this hotel. The turtle conservatory close by is a complete scam where they pretend they care about animals but they only use them to rip off tourist. Dont go there.

A fantastic hotel. What made it special was the attention to detail paid by the impeccable service of Ajita and his team. Good food at exceptionally reasonable prices. A special shout to Shan who went over and above to help us. Beach is perfect. Would recommend this hotel to anyone!

    Having to leave!

location, beach, friendly staff. great service and lovely property. quiet, boutique feel.

while most of the food was good. breakfast was great, seared Tuna was great. some of the dishes such as Pad thai could be better. as with many Sri Lankan restaurants you may ask them to go lighter on salt...

It’s a small piece of heaven ,green , directly on the beach with very few rooms (6) Silence and secure ! We traveled with our 2 small kids and enjoyed our stay much Traveling period is also very important, because if it’s rainy season there is no much to do around than rest and enjoy the views . The staff is kind and helpful. Food is delicious.

Breakfast and evening dinner were both fabulous. Beautiful view of the beach. Very calm and tranquil location. Service and staff both excellent. Room had its own terrace with a view of the sea where we had breakfast and lunch served to us. Amazing sunsets.

Absolutely nothing, we loved the hotel and wished we could have stayed longer!

Superb location with a beautiful beach. The hotel put on live music in the evenings. The food was delicious although not very varied. The chef came out to greet us which was a nice touch. Friendly staff and considered interior design.

The manager was helpful but very to the point and not that friendly. Seemed very stressed. Everyone else was lovely.

An oasis of beauty and tranquility. Just eight rooms, more like a home than a hotel. Such peaceful views across the lawn onto the beach through ancient trees. It’s on a very rare patch of Sri Lankan beach with no other hotels or restaurants, just the local fishermen. It’s a magical stretch of beach with hardly any tourists on it. The powerful waves means its not ideal for swimming. But if you walk around the corner 15 min away there is a calmer huge beach, but much more crowded and built up . I did have a quick dip every day, but better to swim around the corner . On the way is a rock jacuzzi pool perfect for young kids, and very popular with the locals at the week end. I discovered it’s co owned/managed by a norwegian so the material standards are really high, beautiful local furniture, gorgeous interior decoration, sophisticated simplicity or is it Asian elegant ‘hygge’ ? The food is delicious, beautifully presented with a choice of local and international dishes, fairly priced as well. As a solo traveller it’s a real haven. The staff are particularly kind and attentive. The manager even called me at 22.00 when I wasn’t back to check all was ok.

It’s perfect. Ideally all the staff understand English better as some things got lost in translation.
