I would book this place for the amazing view alone. However the host, food and room were fantastic aswell. Couldn't recommend this place more, we had an amazing stay.

The room is big and the view was exceptional. It's a small walk from the city center, but worth it for the amazing scenery. We were only able to stay one night, but the family who owns the hotel was so nice and welcoming. They picked us up from the train station and offered to take us back to town in their tuktuk later that evening. We had a wonderful time here! We would love to stay again.

Nothing - we had to go walk 10-15min to town, but otherwise you wouldn’t have this view, so we did not mind that at all.

The view from the balcony is absolutely exceptional! Beautiful view to Ella Rock. The breakfast was more than enough and very tasty! The best part though were the super nice hosts, always helpful and made us feel very welcome. Thank you again for this great stay! :)

A lovely place with a very ‘Super view’ surrounded by nature with a waterfall in the distance and Ella rock right in front of the balcony. It’s a nice quiet spot too but still close to town (only a 10minute walk). The hosts are a lovely, kind family and were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was great and lots of it!

Amazing location, the host was extremely nice and welcoming. Really helpful and giving advice on what to do and was always available to bring me in his tuk tuk to any destinations, including a sunrise hike. The room itself was extremely clean and spacious with good AC. Food was amazing too. Cannot fault, definitely stay here if in the area.

The wifi was not great BUT let me say i think that is for the best. This is a place to explore nature, relax, take in the views and the numerous stars at night.

There aren't enough words to say for how amazing the hospitality was at Super View! From the moment we arrived at Ella train station to our departure, we were treated with such kindness, and the host family bent over backwards to make our stay seamless. Not once did we have to ask for something- everything was anticipated and provided. The breakfast each morning was wonderful. Renuka offered to pick us up from town when it was late, drove us to the bus on departure, and refused to let us tip him. I think Ella town is a bit commercialized, so if you want to see nature and be greeted with true Sri Lankan hospitality, this is the place.

It was such a nice at Ranuka's guesthouse. The view from the room and the terrace are just exceptional making your stay super relaxing and rejunevinationg. Thanks to Ranuka many attentions, you also feel part of the family when you're there. I can only recommend his house to enjoy Ella, slightly away from the city's crowd and to enjoy nature sounds!

We booked 2 nights at Super View, and it fully met our expectations. Our host was very kind and attentive, giving us lots of helpful tips to make the most of our time in Ella. The view during breakfast was absolutely stunning. It's a peaceful place, and it's easy to walk to the city center or nearby attractions.

For the price nothing I don’t like - it’s important to support the local families of Ella - they are great!

A fantastic place for a couple of days walking in Ella. Hotel has a lovely view from the room balcony and a fantastic couple who run the place. Feels like a home stay rather than a hotel. Quiet and relaxing location. Great breakfast included and great support on making your staying Ella super easy. It’s just out of the town but a 5-10 min walk but that’s good as Ella can be noisy.

Excellent value for money, the view is indeed SUPER!! Renuka as a host is superb. It's a small family hotel so extremely friendly and willing to help with everything. They even offered us a family dinner, for free, which we unfortunately couldn't attend but I'm sure the food was fantastic. We had an early morning train to Kandy and Renuka took us to the train station and refused to take money for the taxi ride. We felt more like friends of the family staying here than actual guests at a hotel. The stairs up to the room were not an issue for us as we are normal people, if you can't walk up then you have no business being in the mountains anyway, right? Rooms were clean (no mold!), the bed comfortable. All in all, we would return here if we were in Ella again and I can HIGHLY recommend Super View.

Our Super View room was comfortable and clean, and the view was indeed super, but what really made our stay special was Renuka and his family. He took us to see the sights, was our guide to the waterfall, and picked us up in his tuktuk whenever we needed, so we had a very action packed time yet relaxing time in Ella. The breakfast was also delicious, especially the coconut and honey pancakes.
