The location is about a 10 minutes tuk tuk from Hikaduwa which wasnt an issue for us. We loved being a little out of town with a quiet beach and sensational views. The food was exception, great breakfast, we went for the Sri Lankan option and they prepared a fabulous dinner for us one night. Fish curry with all the trimmings - it was an absolute feast. The staff are outstanding, genuinely warm and helpful.

It is a nice little hotel situated right on the beach. The room is so clean and cozy. Beautiful view of the ocean right from the room. The swimming pool is also very clean so is the beach. Breakfast was also good. Above all the staff is super friendly. They did everything they could to all my requests. Overall I can recommend it to anyone who loves a quiet and comfortable stay in a small clean accommodation right on the beach.

The hotel is a bit far from any town, so there’s not a lot of restaurants or shops around. If you’re looking for a secluded beach escape, this is the spot.

We had booked a standard double room. It was a pool and ocean view room. The property was very clean. The staff was very friendly and prompt. They were very helpful in arranging transport. Eventhough we had checked out of our room,since our flight was in the evening, Angalo gave us another room where we could change. The property is close to Hikkaduwa ( you will have to rent a bike, tuk tuk or take public transport). Also it was a birthday trip so they helped us arrange a cake and decorated room to make it special. Vidhuni the front desk staff was very polite and always ready to assist. Overall good experience.Good location.Good breakfast. Will surely recommend.

Location was great, right in front of the beach. Staff was super helpful and extremely sweet. They specially prepared a huge vegan and vegetarian breakfast for us. View from the room is great and it is very peaceful.

The downside is the distance from the main hikkaduwa beach area, it wasn't too much of a problem since we had our transport sorted. The other point was that we couldn't quite get into water in front of the hotel, it seemed a bit rocky and wasn't sure how safe it was. We did see other people going towards other spots on either side of the hotel but by then we were already going back and forth from the main beach, so didn't bother checking.

Tantalize beach was overall great. The staff was very welcoming and took care of us very well. We booked the triple room in the upper floor which offers a good view. The pool by the ocean and the greenery all around was lovely. They offer either a continental breakfast or a sri lankan breakfast, both were great. We had a good comfortable stay overall.

Lovely beachfront property, we loved our stay, stunning sunsets each night. About ten mins from Hikkaduwa, calm and quiet, with a beautiful pool and lovely staff. Food available on site was good, another nice restaurant across the road. No liquor licence but you can bring your own. Highly recommended!

The rooms could be improved by including window mosquito nets. Other than that, the hotel is perfect.

Very well situated hotel, in a calm and quiet part of Hikkaduwa. The rooms are big and comfortable. All of the rooms are sea front and you can always watch the sunset from the balcony. The hotel also features a nice clean pool and some wooden sunbeds and parasols. We really had a wonderful time here, its one of the best hotels we've been to during our stay in Sri Lanka.

I had to give a little lower rating because of the smell overcome from the toilet. Staff tried to make it better but not 100% success.

Had a lovely time over there and very nice location with beachfront. Also, it’s located in the very calm and quiet surrounding. There were friendly staff and had a very tasty breakfast. Ms. Viduni is a lovely girl and gave us a warm welcome.

Bed is bit stiff and there were no exhaust fans in the washrooms, location is awesome with beautiful views and beaches, but its bit isolated from the tourist area, 12min drive to hikka

We had such an incredible time at Tantalize Beach Hotel! The staff were super friendly and went out of their way to make our stay special. I was traveling with my two cousins (three girls), and we felt completely safe the entire time. The hotel looks just like the photos, which was such a relief. It’s easy to find, with plenty of parking and great access from the main road. We arrived really early, way before the check-in time, but the staff happily checked us in without any fuss. The private beach was the highlight of our stay. We got to enjoy a stunning sunset, and the ocean view was absolutely breathtaking. We only had breakfast at the hotel, but it was fantastic . It was a proper Sri Lankan spread with lots of variety and everything was so delicious. The staff were always helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Since it was just us and another couple staying that day, it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves, which made the experience even more special. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking for a peaceful beach getaway. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
