The room could have been a bit cleaner, which wasn't helped by poor drainage in the shower.

The staff were lovely and the food was great. The rooms are large with air conditioning, and the pool was kept clean. We had a lovely stay! It is a great location for safaris and Anuradhapura.

Pool was not very clean, so we didn't use it. The room is not isolated, so we could hear every little noise from outside. Animals running on the roof. Very noisy, we didn't get much sleep.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, but they barely spoke English. They booked a safari for us the next day. And packed our breakfast to take with us. They made us dinner, which was very good! The suite was very nice, clean and modern. Location near the lake is very beautiful!

The description ‘luxury suites’ is not really correct in my opinion. The room smelled of mothballs, the bathroom flooded when you took a shower and the toilet did not flush properly. The swimming pool was outdated and not very clean, few sun loungers. Communication with the staff was difficult sometimes since they did not speak english (although they were very friendly). The stay was fine, but it was not luxurious so the title creates different expectations.

Very friendly staff, good food. You can arrange a tour in Wilpattu from the hotel, they pick you up there.

Super friendly place with beautiful spacious clean rooms. The bedding is gorgeous! Staff will take you for a walk to the paddy fields behind the hotel and wake you up if the elephants come visiting the garden in the night!

The hosts do not speak English very well

The hosts were excellent. Luckily we could speak the local language. They even took us on small walks for free. We saw fireflies and weaver bird nests. The view from the bathrooms were amazing.

There was a 10% service charge in the bill when we left for the evening meals which isn't shown in the menu.

It has been recently refurbished and the rooms were spotless with new bathrooms also. The staff seemed quite new, but very attentive, kind and willing to help although limited language other than Sri Lankan. However the owner (who wasn't there) called each night to check everything was ok. The full day safari they organised was excellent as the guide had 14 years experience and could spot animals in the trees with amazing senses, he could also spot tracks on the dirt tracks and we spotted all the animals the parks had to offer. The food was excellent. Very good portions and tasty. Only 10.minutes ride from Wilpatu National Park. The pool was lovely after a hot dusty day. Would definitely recommend staying for 2 nights if you do a full day safari which starts at 5.30am and you return at 5.30pm, so whilst you could take a taxi to Anuradhapura, you will have had enough after being bounced around in the safari jeep for 12 hours and will enjoy the pool and new AC.

It was an incredible experience. The location is very central and quiet, and the hotel is next to a beautiful lake. The service was great, very attentive at all times. And lastly, the quality and price were excellent. We really liked it.

A very spacious room, modern and clean bathroom and excellent food served at the hotel. The chicken curry, with all the side plates, was so tasty. Breakfast was also great.
