Terra is truly special. The food was excellent, the team made us feel at home, and the wellness activities were the perfect way to start the day. Between yoga in the shala and pilates in the new studio, we left feeling completely recharged. Couldn’t ask for more!

Everything. We loved Terra! So much so that after 3 nights at Terra, we left and went to galle and had a few nights lined up there. However, after leaving Terra, we missed it so much that we changed all our plans and came back to Terra for another 2 nights! 😁 The rooms are great, and the staff is just lovely. Bonus was the yoga and Pilate classes on the property and the lovely pool

The rooms were exactly like the photos, super clean and comfy. The staff was really friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even nicer. Our package came with breakfast and it was delicious, definitely worth it. The pool area was such a cozy, chill spot to hang out and relax. The whole vibe of the place was just immaculate, we honestly had a great time staying here.

The property is situated at a perfect location, close to all popular spots and beaches. The stay is amazing and very clean. One of the nicest stays I’ve been to in this budget. Totally recommended!!

During our stay there were quite a lot of people smoking. A hint of smoke from the pool and the other balconies came towards our room (partner noticed it, but I did not). There were also people smoking in the restaurant while we were eating. We can't fault the accommodation for this, because there were no signs with "no smoking", but when eating with a child this is not really a good thing. I would recommend to mention no smoking in the restaurant (although it is semi-outside). The pool was busy during the day. There was not a spot to put our stuff unless we placed it on the ground or in the restaurant. People were justing hanging and barely swimming and taking unlimited selfies of themselves (felt like Instagram in real life). We decided to go swimming every time late afternoon when everyone left. The 3 receptionist behind the desk were not at all helpful. When we arrived they looked bored and everything they did felt like they had to move a mountain. This was also the case during other days. The rest of the staff such as the cleaners and people working in the restaurant were excellent and very kind!

Beautiful rooms and place! The shower was very good! Enough space to hang your clothes. Food that they serve in the hotel was really good.

The sound from outside near the pool area can carry in sometimes. Especially in the morning when things are a bit more active.

The room and bathroom was spacious and well designed. The breakfast was amazing and it's a very cute spot.

It has already been mentioned in reviews, but perhaps adding some lighter curtains so you can still get some natural light, but also not have people able to see straight into the room (only mentioning for improvement)

Everything about this resort was amazing. The staff, rooms, onsite restaurant and wellness activities (yoga and reformer pilates) made for a perfect trip. It wasn't far to walk to the nearest beach (5-10 mins) and a short tuk-tuk ride into Ahangama town. I visited during the low season, but I can imagine it would be a very fun place to be during the high season.

I have booked this amazing place for my colleague on their honeymoon night as a gift. As for their feedback on Terra, it was a wonderful experience and a beautiful place with a nice and friendly atmosphere. They have spent a very relaxing time at the hotel. It was really fun, the resort is beautifully designed. The staff were very nice and helpful, and the receptionist named Dwemini was smiling, welcoming and helped us with whatever we needed. I highly recommend the place.

Overall, it is a really solid boutique hotel in the area, the grounds are cool with a lot of fun spaces, the food was really good, I particularly liked the pesto pasta. Staff were really friendly and helpful It's pretty quiet overall as it's a bit away from the main road but still walkable within a few minutes. The yoga Sala above the lobby and restaurant is pretty big space

Location is a bit further away from Ahangama town centre, not too far but not really walking distance. I prefer to be in the town centre, but my family who I travelled with and are a bit older than me enjoyed that it was not in the town centre. So not exactly a negative, just depends what type of trip you are after.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. There were two very sweet dogs at the hotel. Breakfast options were very good and the chef did an excellent job.

My favorite stay in ahangama! The perfect location tucked away slightly in the jungle just 5 minutes from the beach! Our stay consisted of yoga or Pilates in the morning, then their array of food options, surfing at the nearest break, ice baths and dancing it out in their backyard on the weekends. If you’re looking for an all inclusive vacation but on your own schedule this is the place to be! The staff and hotel owners have a great attitude and helps out on all parts even airport pick ups can be arranged!

This might just be my favourite resort on the south coast of Sri Lanka. It was great value for money, the rooms were spacious and very clean. I slept amazingly during my stay as the bed was very comfortable. The manager and staff were friendly and very helpful with giving me recommendations and booking me tuktuks into town. I work online so the plus was the hotel had fast internet and good coffee. I’ll definitely be back at Terra.
