NetherlandsIf you drive into the property, you will see some mess, because the downstairs apartment isn't done, but upstars is really beautiful, so you should book this listing! :)
The apartment is really clean and new. Our best stay that we had in Sri Lanka. There's also a kitchen with a fridge, etc. For my girlfriend it was also important that we had a AC, so it was very cool in the room ;). Don't forget the lovely smile from the family and the hospitality.

United KingdomHidden gem in Hiriketiya. Don’t let the lack of reviews put you off booking here, it’s a new place. The rooms are bigger than what you would find elsewhere. A/C and ceiling fans worked perfectly as did the shower. Very hot water available. Use of communal fridge and kettle is a nice touch. The hosts are very welcoming and hospitable. Thank you for your warm welcome. Also, 5 min walk to the beach and delicious food a 30 second walk.

Nice hotel and, though 5 minutes walk of the beach, it is located in the centre with lots of restaurants nearby. What I most liked was that the rooms and hotel is really new (opened at start of 2025). Thats why it was defo one of the cleanest and proper rooms I have seen sofar in Sri Lanka. You can make use of a shared livingroom/ kitchen for your morning coffee. I would defo recommend if you prefer clean, new and bright room!

It was the best accommodation we had, we stayed for over a week because it was sooo comfortable! The AC is working perfectly, the bathroom is nice and modern, the balcony is the best thing, you’re close to everything and still it’s very quit at night! I would always stay there again. Really really amazing, and the guy who is in charge of the hotel is very cool!

GermanyWe had an exciting time in Hiriketiya! The accommodation is very centrally located, with everything within walking distance. Hiriketiya Beach is just a 5-minute walk away. Along the main road, many new restaurants, bars, and cafés are currently opening, all easily accessible on foot. There are a few hostels nearby, so it was sometimes a bit noisy in the evenings. However, this is to be expected if you choose to stay in the heart of Hiriketiya. That said, by 11 PM, the area becomes very quiet. The service was very friendly, but it’s important to note that this is an accommodation-only stay, with no food options. However, there are plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby, so finding a morning coffee was never an issue. The property also features a small kitchen with a fridge, kettle, and a spacious sofa. Our room was very clean, with continuous hot water and a large private terrace. We would definitely stay here again!

The hotel has just opened and I was the first guest. I liked it so much that I stayed for a whole week. The rooms are very new, modern and well-equipped. My room was larger than average, with a balcony and a small desk. There is hot water, air conditioning and a ceiling fan. The location in town is perfect and the beach and restaurants are just a few minutes' walk away. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

EstoniaFirst of all, price listed was not final, VAT and city tax was added. Secondly, they dont take card payments in a place with ATMs very far. And when I asked to make a transfer they said they dont have a bank account (which after 4 hours of braindead conversations turned out to be a lie). I have never written a bad review in my life, but the way they were communicating with me was just the worst experience I've ever had. Please avoid this place.
