Great value place in a great location. Nice clean comfortable rooms, although could be a bit dark at times. Very nice open air bathroom with free going through and very nice hosts, definitely recommend!

We had a great stay at the ED Corner. We were given a delicious welcome drink on arrival. The room was lovely with a comfortable bed that had a mosquito net. The bathroom was very cool with an open roof and palm tree in the middle. The wifi and air conditioning worked well. The location was close to restaurants, walking distance to Hiriketiya beach and Dickwella beach and ATMs. Also the bus stop was close by too. The man who runs this hotel was super helpful. We enjoyed our stay so much here we decided to extend for an extra night.

Some construction next to the property but didn't bother me too much.

The only tiny downside is that the place is quite close to the street and you can hear the cars, so if you are a light sleeper you might need earplugs to sleep a little longer.

It was really great place to stay, we spend almost a week and it was really perfect. Host was really amazing, so helpful and at the end of our stay he even drove us to the bus stop to make sure that we get to the right bus. The place itself is quite simple, comfortable bed, simple bathroom with warm water, we had everything that we needed, including really nice tarace. I would definitely come back.

The Wi-Fi was so so (very normal here) and we had one cockroach in the bathroom (also super normal here, we had them in Sri Lanka all the time so it’s something to get used to). The listing says “breakfast available” but they don’t serve breakfast anymore.

The room is big and clean, with a balcony. The staff was amazing and super kind!

The room had a water boiler and a fridge, I got some kitchen stuff to prepared my own food. The room have enough space, the terrace was nice with some plants and monkeys in the morning. The roome was very modern with an a/c and a fan. It's just a short walk to the beach. The owner ist very helpful and friendly. I enjoyed my stay and can totally recommend this place. Thanks a lot for hosting me🙏🏻

The room was beautiful and comfortable, with a nice terrace. My favourite part was the open bathroom with the palm tree :) The hosts were very nice, and I was treated with a delicious welcome smoothie The location is excellent, and the garden is very peaceful

The place was well located; an easy walk to the beach or a multitude of shops and restaurants - but not too close, so at night you can sleep quietly! Super clean, comfy and spacious rooms. The hosts were a very kind and accomodating family. Highly recommend!

Amazing location close to hiriketiya beach and cafes, room was naturally cool so fan was enough to not feel hot, palm tree growing in the bathroom was very cool, nice little garden out the front, friendly and helpful hosts. Great restaurant just over the road as well with home cooked food

The accommodation is ideally located - close to the beach and not far from the main pathways (it also felt safe to walk there during night time). The room with a small terrace was very spacious and nicely designed - I loved the outdoor shower with the palm tree! :) The hosts were truly welcoming, accommodating and helpful Thank you so much for the great stay 🙏🌸

I had a wonderful stay for a few weeks at “The ED Corner” in Hiriketiya! The hosts are super friendly and always ready to help if you need anything, making you feel right at home. The place is very clean and cozy, with a nice, welcoming vibe. The location is perfect too – just a short walk to the beautiful beach, which is great for relaxing or surfing. The homestay is cute and has a lovely, charming feel. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing spot in Hiriketiya!

Finding a pretty big spider as I have arachnophobia but I guess is part of being so close to the outdoor.

Lovely room with private entrance, patio and garden. The room is big and comfy and the open air bathroom with a palm tree in it is a nice plus to have. Very relaxing place to be with a short walk to the beach, the main road and the sourranding villages. Ed and his family are super welcoming and friendly. Very nice people to stay with, although they let you privacy and space.

the bathroom was open, part of the roof was not there, as a palm was growing through. it did not bother us and was pretty, alao meant that bathroom was aired which was nice, but keep in mind. one downside was that bathroom door also had a huge gap, as a result all the mosquitos came in. we put a tape on it and it was fine, but something to fi' maybe.

everything was perfect, the location is very close to the beach, room is clean and well-planned, lots of surface to put stuff, clean bathroom, mosquito nets on windows. the room is airy and bed is comfortable. the hosts were very nice. also there is a small family-owned cafe right across the steeet, it's very cheap and very tasty.

We really loved staying here! The bathroom was incredible with the palm tree in the middle and you could hear monkeys and birds in the trees above. The room size is also really big and has everything you need. Excellent location. The family are the loveliest people and super welcoming :) would 100% come back here.

Great place to stay. Short walk from the beach in quieter part of town. Hosts are very nice and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Monkeys in the morning and evening on the mango tree in front of the room!
