Delani, the owner was so lovely. Really helpful & friendly and she made us the most delicious takeaway breakfast for our early departure.

There was construction works going on, so we had to walk through this to get to our room so at times you just had to be careful, but the workers were very polite and accommodating. It really did not in any way affect our stay as we barely heard them and we didn't in any way notice it when we were in our room or sitting on the verandah in front of our room.

Stayed with my 2 (adult) daughters and the room was really spacious and comfortable - perfect for the 3 of us. What really makes this stay is Dilani, who runs it. She is really lovely, very attentive, and is extremely helpful in a very inobtrusive way. We would recommend this place purely on her. But in addition it is very easy walking distance to everything, including the train station; the room is spacious and good; and Dilani provides an excellent breakfast (we especially loved the Sri Lankan turmeric crepes with filling!). We had also seen through other reviews that she is an artist, so we asked if we could see some of her works and ended up buying a painting and my daughter bought a bag with a print on it. All in all, would very highly recommend this place.

Little paradise, calm and peaceful, surrounded by palm trees, flowers and singing birds, away from the busy centre of Ella, (but only a 5 minute walk to get here). Extra lovely host, who is always there for you, delicious breakfast. We (family of four) definitively will come back! Thank you very much for all Dilani!

Super close to the train station and downtown Ella, which is all very walkable, but away from the riff raff so it's a bit quieter than staying in the main area. Host is super sweet and kind, we had a wonderful time! Will absolutely stay there again!

The accommodation is basic and perfect stopover for exploring Ella. Location is very good. The room was spacious with two double beds. Plenty of space to open out luggage. The host was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. We had laundry service which was very good and the host repaired my dress which had gotten torn whole I was wearing it . We would recommend this accommodation for anyone wanting clean basic accommodation in a good location only few minutes walk to the centre of Ella.

There is no AC but it was indicated in the property details so we knew what to expect. Anyway it’s not hot in Ella so you don’t really need it

The property was cozy, clean, and with a good location. You are in the middle of the jungle where you can enjoy calmness and observe wild animals but at the same time it’s only 5 minutes away from the central street with all the restaurants and the railway station. Special thanks to host Dilani! She welcomed us with homemade cold lemonade. She was very kind and helpful. She helped us with renting scooters and finding good locations to go to. She made good breakfast that we enjoyed in a cute private place. I would definitely recommend this accommodation ❤️

Beautiful property, still partially under construction but it didn’t affect our stay at all. Stunning views of nature from the balcony where you could spend hours sitting. Dilani was so helpful kind and attentive! The property is walking distance to town but far away enough that it feels private and doesn’t have much of the towns noise pollution. The rooms were comfortable clean and well equipped. We would love to stay here again!

A couple more blankets for the room would have been nice. It was chilly. Florescent lighting was a bit harsh and light switches were oddly placed

Wonderful staff. Good communications prior to check in and nice tea on arrival. Very good shower and plenty of hot water. Close to the main street with restaurants and shops but in a quiet neighborhood.

Amazing location in Ella where you are in walking distance to everything, but don’t hear all the music coming from the Main Street. The owner is incredibly nice and kind, doing whatever she could to make us feel at home. I would definitely stay here again!

The beds were just a little on the hard side.

The property was wonderful. Very close to the main area in Ella, but away from the hustle/bustle of it. Very quiet area. The landscaping was beautiful and was very relaxing to sit and watch in the mornings. Our host was great. She recommended a few spots to eat at see while we were in Ella. She was very welcoming to her guest house.
