Very kind and caring staff. I felt welcome the moment I stepped into the hotel. The rooms and overall the hotel was very clean and also the beds/pillows were really comfortable. The most amazing part for me was the breakfest with eggs, sausages, fresh fruits, avocados, toasts, etc. 10/10, would absolutely recommend it.

Breakfast and dinner provided by hostel staff. It's pretty much at the end of Kandy lake so the best way is to walk along the lake side specially in evening when the birds are joyfully chirping. Host was also very nice and allowed me to checkin an hour early

Breakfast and supper come with your room payment, but they are nearly impossible to use, because they are only offered in a 30 minute window. Further, the kitchen facilities are not public, so you can't cook your own food if you miss theirs. They wouldn't even let me heat water for my oatmeal in the kettle. There are plenty of cheap restaurants in Kandy, but if you miss the tiny meal window, that's what you're doing for meals.

This is a convenient and comfortable hostel in Kandy. The A/C is crankin. There is a refrigerator.

Toilet clogged which they admitted they new about as a reoccurring problem but have not fixed. I was moved rooms without prior telling me and came back to find they had removed all my things from the room into the corridor without asking. The hotel is a bit far from the center of Kandy. Staff speak very little English so it can be hard to communicate any issues. AC stopped working but was fixed quickly. Not much of a social area, only tables for eating breakfast/dinner and a couple of old sofas.

Very comfortable beds, big rooms and decent breakfast included in the price.

There was an issue while payment. I have been asked to pay more than the amount shown while booking on booking.com website. The hostel manager told that the final amount payable would be more than the amount shown in booking.com where they would add some commission.

The beds are super comfortable, nice warm shower, good fans and ac, free water refills. Good recommendations from the manager. Nice to chill and socialize. Simple breakfast and dinner, but tasty. A bit far from Kandy city center, but quite quiet, and it is nice to walk along the lake to get there.

I loved the location of the place. The lake is near and so beautiful. The staff was very kind and and helpful. With the breakfast and dinner it has a very good value for money. I liked the garden too.

It is a lovely property. The host helped me plan my travel ahead keeping my needs in mind. The breakfast and dinner inclusion was simple homely food which was much needed for me as a traveller. The eating together also allows you to connect with other travellers. Some really nice homely vibes in this place.

The owners are so friendly and kind. They take care of the gusts very well! They can speak Japanese as well!!!!! The beds are quite close to each other with no barricade or blinds or anything. Didn't bother me but I feel like that's good to know. Oh and the hostel has two locations so make sure you arrive at the correct one! The google maps locations is also a bit confusing.

Super friendly staff 24/7 available. Breakfast was nice. It was easy to get in touch with other travellers without it ever being too loud. It is a social hostel but definitely not a party hostel. The Tuktuk driver who works there is super friendly, gives fair prices. The day tour was fun and it was like 3000SLR for the group of 3 I think.

Everything was great.

Mr Bandar is so helpful and friendly. He is a lovely man and you can ask him for advice or just to have a chat. The rooms are very clean and each room has its own bathroom which are very clean as well. Hot water and fans and AC if you want it on. (The fan is fine to be hones, it’s not too hot here) The common areas are also very clean and spacious. Great to relax in peace. The location is perfect, away from the traffic and hustle of the city but only a short walk to town around the lake which is lovely. There is a small hill to walk to the hostel, maybe 3 mins. I thoroughly recommend staying here. It’s a fantastic hostel and excellent value for money. I came whilst the Buddhas tooth was on show in the temple for the first time in 16 years (it’s normally locked away) so the city was so busy with thousands of people for the pilgrimage but it was great to be here for it and see everyone. I felt very lucky.

Very clean, comfortable beds, felt safe. Walking distance to the lake - 20 mins walk to town but a nice walk around the lake. Very helpful staff and breakfast included was a great touch! Free tea/coffee, toast, omelette, curry, marmalade, and juice. Met a couple of nice people but as we were in a group the social side didn’t matter so much. Not super social if you are solo and want to meet people. Quiet, not a party hostel!
