We had a wonderful and very comfortable stay at this charming Villa in Kandy. Nestled in a quiet and peaceful area, it was the perfect retreat for all of us to relax and unwind. The rooms were clean, spacious, and exceptionally comfortable, with clean bathrooms. We all felt right at home from the moment we arrived. What truly stood out was the warm Sri Lankan hospitality — the host was incredibly kind, helpful, and always welcomed us with a genuine smile, perfectly reflecting the gracious spirit of Sri Lanka

We were just passing through Kandy so didn’t get a true sense of how far out it was from the city.

Really lovely place to stay with the best breakfast! Fantastic omlettes and delicious fruit platters. The pool was brilliant for the children. The manager was really attentive and caring which was lovely. And the house is absolutely beautiful, with great room sizes, a beautiful outdoor eating area and a lovely large communal kitchen space. Very highly recommended.

My boyfriend and I had *the* most wonderful time here. So relaxing! We booked 1 night and extended 2 more nights. Kings villa is a little haven, on a beautiful garden and pool view away from the bustle of the town. The food is excellent, the staff were so kind and helpful, the views are majestic and the rooms are ample sized and very clean. It's about 30 mins from Kandy - the staff can organize transport.

Kings villa amazing We decided to stay in this villa because we wanted to stay a little bit away from Kandy city and it was the right choice to make because Kandy city is full of noise and the king's villa was a little bit outside the city. Service was good and food was ok. They served a big western breakfast with a lot of items. We liked the homely feeling we received because of the friendliness of the staff. Also this villa has a big garden and a pool so it is ideal for a family with little kids. They gave us very good tips on what to do and where to visit in the rural parts of Kandy as we mentioned we don’t like to roam around a busy city. One of the staff members took us on a day trip to some of the places we would have never experienced on our own. This was the most interesting part of staying in this place as we could learn about the culture, religion , and food patterns of the locals. We also could enjoy very good tea in a tea factory where we learned the process of making tea. We really did enjoy our stay at the king's villa because compared to other places we stayed in Sri Lanka this place was a place of refuge. Keep in mind it is not located close to the city and it is around 10 km from the city center.

If you want a gateway far from the busy city it is a great choice. Super delicious breakfast and dinner The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Plus, the pool was beautiful and relaxing, surrounded by such a lovely setting. Overall, it was a stunning experience, and I can’t wait to visit again!

Our stay at Kings' Villa was simply fantastic! Nestled within its gated walls, this charming haven promises both safety and privacy.a private swimming pool with a beautiful garden. The moment we arrived, we were greeted by the most attentive and accommodating staff who ensured our every need was met with a smile. The breakfast is delicious. Wish I stayed longer but certainly, I will be visiting again, and I highly recommend this place.

Recently visited, had the most amazing unique experience. One of the best Villa I have visited. food is amazing, however the variety is less. The rooms are comfortable and provide all necessary amenities. The staff is very friendly and service is really good. Very nice spacious house, and our family had a great time. The place was clean and had everything we needed including plenty of comfortable beds The house is quite big and good enough to stay around 10 people. Each room has its own bathroom and amenities are enough to stay comfortably. The caretaker helps very well. Value for money and highly recommended. Will definitely stay there if we visit Kandy again

What an amazing place, as soon as I went in the house I knew it was way more than we were expecting, it is a huge house with only 4 rooms so everyone gets to have its privacy while also getting to spend time together in the common areas has its own balcony. I wish I could take it home with me! And don’t let me get started with the views,The entire house offers the beautiful garden and pool views. The house is a gem and my family and I had the best time! Thanks for sharing this treasure with us .

Kings villa 30 min away Center definitely one of the best places we stayed in Sri Lanka. A haven of peace and tranquillity in a beautiful area of Kandy. the beautiful Villa. The staff were very kind and welcoming, we had a tour of the garden and got to sample some of the many fruits, Vegetables Breakfast is filling and great. Set in a peaceful garden jungle away from the hectic street of Kandy away from that hustle and bustle Was great to have a refreshing swim in the pool. If I came back to Kandy, I would happily stay here again.

We Are so happy we chose King's Villa over a hotel in the center as Kandy is busy and noisy. We had a great time staying there, the villa was very comfortable with privacy is the best, the garden and the pool incredible. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, service was quick and the food was great! homemade breakfast with ingredients from the garden highly recommended. Great entrance hall with comfortable couches and nice terrace outside with sunbeds and tables for breakfast and dinner. Looking forward to our next trip and we will be returning to this Villa for a longer stay.

It was not clean, dirty sheets, towels, kitchen etc. we were a group of 6 and there were only 3 sun beds at the pool.

It was amazing and 10/10 The dining area was so spacious and clean including cutleries and everything The menu was so good and wholesome it exceeded my expectations Totally fair for the price.Food was simply delicious:)
