Great location, right across the street from the beach, nice staff. The room is nice, with space to store your clothes and the AC was working well. The only problem was the quite strong smell of mold in the room and in the bathroom (we had the middle room on ground floor). I hope this can be fixed in the future.

Would have loved the option to have a Sri Lankan breakfast. Big portions of fruit bread and omelette but would have preferred Sri Lankan.

Great location right by the beach. Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Owners were really lovely and helpful. Went out surfing two of the days with the owner and had a great lesson each time.

My first room at the ground floor had a very strong chemical smell. I got a headache off it while being in the room and couldn’t sleep there. I got upgraded the next day with a new room without any extra cost since it was fully booked the first day.

Great location right by the beach and the breakfast is good. The second night was on the third floor, which was good! Clean rooms, comfy beds and nice staff.

There aren’t enough options to store luggage/clothes in the room, we had to be creative. The sofa was in bad condition and the bathroom was always damp. We would have appreciated some form of communication with the owner or even some recommendations (that could be improved). When we asked for breakfast at the hotel, we were told it’s not possible (although it says so online).

We liked the location close to the beach. The room was clean, the AC worked nicely, Wifi was ok and the bed was comfy. The owner took care of our luggage after checkout so that we could do some exploring. That was nice.

Wardrobe or some other arrangement for keeping things and a tea kettle will be very helpful. Hooks in bathroom are also required. Otherwise all things were very good.

the atmosphere ,

close to the beach, spacious and clean room but the place has no soul. the common area has just a few tables, no plants, no decoration which makes the place not very pleasant to stay more than 1 night.

Room adjacent corridor is open. Rains comes there & that water comes in room.

Rooms are big & clean. Toilet are attached & very clean. We took the room. With breakfast. Food was good.

The building is being renovated, so it was quite a bit of a work in progress here and there. During the evenings, the ants come out to explore the sink area in the toilet

There was some construction work in the area and we had some power outages.

We had a great time here! The location is perfect and you can reach a lot of nice restaurants within a few minutes of walking. The beach is right around the corner and a supermarket just down the street. We rented a scooter from this place and it was in good condition.

Everything was good. It would be nice if they could provide cupboards in the room.

The place was very good and the staff was very helpful. Room were big enough with balcony and aircon. Beds were comfy and had mosquito net fitted. No almirah/cupboards were there to arrange our belongings. Mirissa beach is few minutes walk away. Plenty of veg/non-veg food options present close to this place.

Only got hot water twice in the middle of the day in the shower otherwise it was cold showers, bathroom is a little run down. Towels were super small, no beach towels,

Clean, comfortable and good location. Only a few minutes walk to the beach and restaurants. Close to main street. It was great to have a fan in the room as an option to air-conditioning. Garden and surrounds were always kept clean and tidy.

The property was a short walk 3 mins to the beach. It was clean and comfortable and room was spacious. Kitchen facilities were available. Had fan and air con, great to have a choice.

The location is great. Not as much interactions with people who own/manage it as with guesthouses, but they were nice and also the breakfast staff were great. Good breakfast! Room (basic room) was not as nice as expected. The shower holder was broken and the toilet leaked. Also the mosquito net was teared. Not super clean (mirror/shower) and no real sheet on bed but got one when asked. They did try fixing the toilet and moved us after one night, so that was good. I think the other rooms were better. Didn’t like the bed very much, but that is mostly personal preference.
