Nothing, it was a good experience, very good value, clean and had everything we needed.

For breakfast the fruit selection was delicious, good coffee served in a pot, individual small plain omelettes, ideal for a quick breakfast. Mountain of toast also provided, which we didn’t use.

Great location

It’s in close proximity to the city centre. It is very high up as most of the properties in Ella are. It’s not for either unfit or elderly people. Young people will love everything about it.

Furnishing a bit old fashioned but in good condition and like we mentioned the appartement was very clean which we think is the most important. Warning; when in the shower you might get wet (if you are lucky). No all jokes aside..the water pressure in the shower was very poor. This is something they should (try to) get fixed. The road to/from the accommodation was very steep, but it was only about 100metres and it did bring you straight to the Ella Main Street and it does give you great views so for us it was no problem and the location was perfect.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great views. We had the privilege to stay in a corner appartement which meant we had windows and views on two sides. Very clean.

No air con but that gets reflected on the price.

Very friendly, managed by a woman so you could see the little details on everything. Had a big bag of laundry and it was done overnight. Excellent location

There is quite a steep hill to climb to get to the hotel, but once you’re up there the views are amazing.

The owners were really lovely and helpful. The beds were large and comfortable and came with bug nets.

There’s currently some renovations going on at this property as it is not peak season - these were a little noisy, but don’t cause too much drama when out exploring Ella’s beautiful sights!

The Wifi didn’t connect in the whole stay though i Didn't need it that much but it is important for many.!

The position of the hotel is value for money as It's in the centre of Ella town. One can easily enjoy the Ella night life. Great location with all the facilities.

Steep climb to get to the hotel. No plug point near the bed to charge phones at night. We felt that there is a power surge effecting the charging of devices.

It’s a walkable distance from the railway station but uphill. A shortcut from the people’s bank atm. They could provide atleast water for each day which wasn’t the case. Just one time 😤. The local attractions are walkable distance from here. Enjoy

The location at the top of a steep hill made access a bit challenging, but in return, it’s nicely removed from the noise of the main street and offers a great view. (Though you can still hear a bit of music at night…) The water facilities, including hot water, are basic but sufficient.

The hospitality of the owner and his wife was truly wonderful. They helped me plan my day, checked in on me often, and made sure I had a comfortable stay. Most of all, when I was having trouble figuring out transportation, the owner kindly drove me to another town himself, which was a huge help.

There were some bugs in the room - can’t leave food on the table. A bit noisy in the evenings - ear plugs come in handy.

There were fantastic views and it nice to sit on the verandas with a cool breeze after an active day. It was lovely to be up high but there was a very steep walk to get up to the hotel.

Unable to pay with CC, Sri Lanka currency only. Was in a very nice 3rd corner uni, unfortunately the north side is towards the very loud Boom Boom bar. Suggests south suite might be better. Healthy climb up to property.

It is a bit noisy as located above the main road where a lot of parties are going on.

Good location (you do need to climb a bit but that’s not uncommon in Ella) and very helpful staff. Good value for money.

Access to it when we arrived. We didn’t have any warnings about the very, very, very steep path/road (our taxi would not go all the way). We had to heave our luggage in the heat over bumpy track and then up an almost impossibly steep ‘drive’. Luckily two passing strangers helped us otherwise we would have been completely wrecked. It would NOT be at all suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Not really a view from our room, apart from huge phone tower. Poor Wi-Fi.
