For breakfast the fruit selection was delicious, good coffee served in a pot, individual small plain omelettes, ideal for a quick breakfast. Mountain of toast also provided, which we didn’t use.

Nothing, it was a good experience, very good value, clean and had everything we needed.

We thought the hotel had a homely welcoming feel, very friendly staff! The views are breathtaking and worth a stay as its so close to the nine arch bridge which can be accessed on foot at the train station tracks. Not super modern, but very well priced and convenient location to restaurants and cracking roti stalls!

As it is up a hill, you have to be relatively fit to walk to it, if not get a tuk tuk! However you'd find it hard to find a hotel in Ella that isn't up a hill, so this has to be expected. Wasn't very clear how to turn the hot water on in the shower and room is a little dated. Wifi is a bit hit and miss, but that could be a problem everywhere in the area. Would stay here again :)

Great location, only a 12 minute walk from the train station and it's located up a steep hill off the main road. You can hear the noise from town a bit but that didn't bother us! Rooms are standard, we got the family room on the bottom floor and it was perfect to rest and shower up as we wanted to explore the multiple adventurous sights in town. The owners offered to store our backpacks too after checking out while we were out for the day which was SO helpful! No AC in the room but a fan that did the job perfectly, as Ella cools down a little at night (likely due to elevation).

The only thing I noticed was they only provided a blanket for the comforter but due to heat it worked for the night! Other than that the property was perfect for us.

It’s in close proximity to the city centre. It is very high up as most of the properties in Ella are. It’s not for either unfit or elderly people. Young people will love everything about it.

Beautiful view on mountains, very kind personel, tasty breakfast. Comfortable bed.

The doors werent soundproof, but it was a trifle. In super King room wasnt any baldachim.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great views. We had the privilege to stay in a corner appartement which meant we had windows and views on two sides. Very clean.

Furnishing a bit old fashioned but in good condition and like we mentioned the appartement was very clean which we think is the most important. Warning; when in the shower you might get wet (if you are lucky). No all jokes aside..the water pressure in the shower was very poor. This is something they should (try to) get fixed. The road to/from the accommodation was very steep, but it was only about 100metres and it did bring you straight to the Ella Main Street and it does give you great views so for us it was no problem and the location was perfect.

Close by the center

Our stay was unfortunately very disappointing. We used the laundry service, which was quite expensive compared to other places. Two items (a T-shirt and a sweater) came back damaged. Even worse, the staff had noticed it but didn’t tell us. When we asked about it, they blamed us instead of taking responsibility. Two staff members even started laughing at us in their own language while we stood right there, extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. The room was not properly cleaned (dust and dirt clearly visible under the bed), breakfast was poor, and the so-called “nice view” was actually just an electricity pole. Nothing like the pictures. We travel a lot and are understanding, but this stay lacked honesty, basic quality, and respect for guests.

Loved the location—super convenient for exploring the area. Room was really clean, and the view was amazing! Staff were super nice and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

First of all very welcoming people.nice and clean room with mosquito nets which is very helpful. As a vegetarian, they were very accommodating to my needs for breakfast.

Everything was good..We took two rooms with balcony each with a great view.. The rooms were very spacious and bright. Very nice ladies in the reception. We liked it very much.

Close to the center. One night on Saturday the music from pubs was a bit too loud.

The hotel is in a Strategic Position to reach the city center. It is only 5 minutes away from it. It is located up the city over a rise. The Woman, who manage the hotel is really kind and nice and is open to every Kind of question. The family room is really big: it has 2 bedrooms and 2 bath. Both are really clean. She also prepara breakfast, it was really tasty!

Very friendly, managed by a woman so you could see the little details on everything. Had a big bag of laundry and it was done overnight. Excellent location

No air con but that gets reflected on the price.

The location was good close to the Main Street but up a large steep hill. Our room didn’t have AC but had a fan, some of the more expensive rooms had AC.

There is not much to like about this place.

the location is uphill and very steep. Up and down is not a pleasant experience. The family running the place doesn't give you good vibes. They were not responding to my calls after I had checked to listen to the concern. The water was exhausted in the bathroom during the morning and took multiple calls to respond. They gave just one bottle in the entire stay. Don't choose this place. There are much better places at much better price.

The owners were really lovely and helpful. The beds were large and comfortable and came with bug nets.

There is quite a steep hill to climb to get to the hotel, but once you’re up there the views are amazing.

Friendly, welcoming, comfortable and well positioned stay with a great view of the mountains!

There’s currently some renovations going on at this property as it is not peak season - these were a little noisy, but don’t cause too much drama when out exploring Ella’s beautiful sights!
