United KingdomThe spring Villas Kandy is very family friendly with hospitable staff and spacious rooms. The kids loved the pool which was clean and nice and the food was great too with a Sri Lankan touch to it. Highly recommend travelling with family.in cause if i go back to kandy for holidays with my family definitely i will book with them.

Sri LankaThe only downside was the road leading to the property, which was under construction and a bit challenging to navigate. However, this is a temporary issue and didn’t affect our overall experience at the villa.
The serene, jungle-like atmosphere and the peaceful surroundings were truly captivating. The pool area was a highlight, offering a relaxing spot to unwind. Additionally, the property being pet-friendly was a big plus, and the staff’s exceptional hospitality made the stay unforgettable.

Sri LankaLocating this hotel was extremely difficult, especially at night. It took us hours to locate it, and we had to make multiple phone calls to receive proper directions. The hotel is situated on a hill, and the access road is in very poor condition—unsealed, bumpy, and challenging to navigate. We were driving a small car, and it was quite a struggle to manage the mountainous terrain in the dark. I would not recommend attempting it with a larger vehicle, as the road is likely unsuitable. The meals offered were very basic. Although described as an “American breakfast,” they fell far short of that expectation. Customer care was also disappointing; the manager lacked the professionalism and knowledge one would expect at a hotel. The most distressing part of our stay was the behavior of the hotel manager. On our second day, while we were out touring Kandy, he called us unexpectedly and launched into a verbal tirade with baseless accusations, claiming our room was untidy and that the towels were wet and unclean. He demanded that we check out immediately. We were shocked by this unprovoked attack and made the decision to leave as soon as we returned, as it was impossible to stay in such a toxic and hostile environment. On a more positive note, the other staff members were polite, kind, and apologetic regarding the situation. Additionally, the floor tiles near the swimming pool and room entrance were extremely slippery, posing a serious fall hazard—particularly concerning for older guests like us. Overall, while some staff were courteous, the poor accessibility, lack of basic hospitality standards, and unprofessional management made this a very unpleasant experience.
