Good size room, lovely terrace, good location, quiet, small road but very very close to lovely restaurants. Can walk to rock.

Communication with owner was sporadic. Breakfast on first days didn't turn up (maybe a Communication error?) Another day messaged to ask for early breakfast (before climbing rock) but again didn't respond until 10am next day. When breakfast did arrive was hoppers, bread, fruit and tea on terrace which was nice. Took 8hrs to get back to us with WiFi code. Bins weren't emptied. No one around to ask questions.

Isuru and family were very welcoming and helpful, helping us to arrange transportation in and out of Sigiriya and activities while we were there. They even dropped us at Lion's Rock at 5am so that we could climb up for sunrise. The room was comfortable and air conditioning in the room was appreciated! There were plenty of small restaurants serving very tasty Sri Lankan food within walking distance.

Beautiful hosts who made us feel very welcome. Thank you. Excellent cleanliness in the room and a delicious breakfast.

One room can accomodate upto 6 member but ac through is lil less and other things are fine

This is one of the best places I have stayed in a very long time. The view is incredible. Room is clean and absolutely great value for money. The host were so nice and made me a very good homemade breakfast.

I had a wonderful stay at Thuruliya residence! The family is so kind and welcoming, rooms are big and extrememy clean, with AC. It is located in a calm place at a walking distance to the lion rock and many good restaurants and cafés around. The owner is very helpful and helped me organize the rest of my trip in Sri Lanka and gave me tips. They also offer tours and I did one for Polonnaruwa. Last but not least breakfast is so delicious and very filling! I highly recommend this place!

Fabulous homestay in good location down quiet side road. Peaceful rural feel surrounded by greenery. There are 2 groundfloor units - mine had two bedrooms and large bathroom. Everything very clean. Excellent very effective air conditioning and a ceiling fan made for a cool night sleep. Reliable hot shower as well as a cold one. Pleasant verandah to sit out on with table and chairs. A very good breakfast which varied each day was served on the verandah with tea and coffee. The family were very welcoming and helpful. WiFi was good. A superb restaurant up the street on the left near where it joins the main road. You will recognise it by the large numbers of customers that eat there

beautiful home stay with a lovely family. very clean and spacious for our family of 4. amazing Sri Lankan breakfast and had a fantastic curry rice on request one evening. location is fantastic, as just on the edge of town so everything is a short walk but is still lovely and peaceful.

large confortable bedroom familly is absolutely adorable and really care for their guests .. one of the son drop me to the entrance of Sigiriya with his Tuk Tuk for no extra cost and on mt departing day the other son who heard I was going by bus to Pollonaruwa offer me to join him to Habarana as he wad driving there They also provide on request some really good dinner

May be add some plants to separarate the shared terrace space between the 2 bedrooms

The location, peaceful and quiet tucked out of the way. Staff were friendly! Big, bright and comfortable rooms.

Breakfast could be improved!

Nice and honest family. Usually Sri lankan people will try to overcharge you as a tourist. But they were honest. Appreciate it. The young man has a tuk tuk and a jeep for safaris. His mother cooks good food. The house is clean. Recommend it.

I had bad luck of few days of rainy weather, couldn't see much around. Maybe next time. The internet was weak, they installed a new router but it was not plugged in at that time. However, 4G was decent there.

This is a great place to stay. Wonderful family who are friendly and helpful hosts. The patio is a great place to hang out and meet other guests. The breakfast is one of the best I have had and the dinners were outstanding. We asked to watch the dinner being cooked and Ganga translated the spices into English for us and showed us how to use the coconut shredder. I really felt at home. The rooms are clean and spacious. The short walk to the lake is beautiful with a view of Lions Rick reflected in the lake - this was Mt favourite viewpoint. I can't recommend this place enough!

Really friendly manager. Sorted out transport for us really easily. Breakfast was good. My daughter was very happy to spot a tiny frog and a lizard. Easy to walk down the street for dinner or to see Sigiriya. Genius travellers power point!

Booked a room with 3 beds but got one with 2. We managed fine though.
