There's no area for socialising. You hear the music from a restaurant until midnight. In the female 4 bedroom you don't hear the noise.

Confortable to arrive from a trip to Colombo airport or before departing. (closer to the airport than Colombo and quieter). They charge you 4 dollars for using the hostel before the check in at 1 or 2 pm. Confortable big beds. AC has no fixed temperature , roommates decide it. Individual clean toilets. Clean and big room. Warm shower. Reasonable prices for food. You can use the swimming pool in the next hotel (2 min walk). You can pay with card. After checking out at 12.00 I could have a shower to go clean to the airport.

I missed a locker to put valuable things in. A curtain in front of the bed would’ve been great - especially because the main lights are bright and if someone comes in the room while you’re already asleep and turns the light on it easily wakes you up 😅. When I was there the music from the restaurant / bar was quite loud but stopped at a reasonable time.

The beds were comfortable; it was nice to have your own pod as it gave you some privacy. I liked that there is some extra space next to the mattress to put your phone/earplugs/e-reader etc next to you. The bathrooms were good too although a bit of warm water would’ve been nice.

Great hostel . I chose it for the pool. I slept great. The beds were so comfortable. I do wish there was a common area for guests. The hostel was basically a very popular restaurant. So in the evening it got very crowded and loud. You can hear the noise in the rooms. Also there would be no quiet space sit. That being said, I still recommend it

It’s more a big restaurant with rooms and facilities rather than a hostel. Not really any chill area to socialise with other backpackers so not very social.

Dorms and facilities are amazing. Individual pods with comfy mattress, towel, individual light, plugs and big lockers for each bed. AC in the rooms. Bathrooms are individual little bathrooms with shower, toilet and sink, way more private than just cubicles. Also the food at the restaurant is amazing! I tried the fish curry, the seafood pizza and the Watalappam (desert) and all three were out of this world. I recommend staying there if you’re in Negombo.

They have sister’s company called “Sea Horse Hotel and Spa” which by the serves a very good fried rice. HOWEVER, that sister’s company has SPA partner in Jasmine Villa. The SPA service is NOT GOOD at all! The masseuse literally did not know how to do it. I literally paid 5K LKR for full body massage and i was not happy at all. She just scattered the oil in my body for 75 mins with open palm and that’s it until ending.

The property itself is wow! Super clean! Super spacious! Sooo many washrooms (very important)! Friendly staffs! AC is amazingly cooling! Very safe and secured! Just i loved everything. (I would give 7 because of my SPA experience)

When I paid, reception lady did not give me the correct change. Same as the restaurant. I had to request the correct change.

The photos are true reflections of the dorms. Each bed has a light but no curtains. The bathrooms are clean. There is a restaurant connected to the hostel which has great atmosphere. They also provide a towel.

Unfortunately the place is made of a lot of wood, not sure if it’s due to the humidity or coming from the bathrooms but it smelled like pee in the hall and partly the rooms. ACs blow pretty promptly to the upper beds so make sure to bring covers.

Nicely located in Negombo, large restaurant with various food options and a pool at the close by located hotel that can be used for free as well.

We didn’t get the room we asked for, booked a 4 bed dorm and got a 6 bed dorm, but that was okay. On our last night there (the 14th of February), there was a big local party going on at the hostel. Meaning that we couldn’t get drinks or food at our own hostel, which I think is ridiculous.

Good rooms, very comfortable beds, good location. You can use the swimming pool at their other hotel, only a 2 minute walk from the hostel. You can also have breakfast there, but would not recommend.

Very comfortable hostel for one night. The shower facilities are great, bed was very comfy and everything was clean. It's not as hostel as such (no social area) but suitable for one night before/after flying. The staff were kind and gave me a towel so I could shower after checkout too.

My bed didn’t have a sheet but cos i arrived late I didn’t think I could go ask anyone so got a bit cold. Top bunk is very high up though there is a decent amount of handles.

Great hostel for a night. Good facilities and comfy bed and hot shower. Would recommend.

The ladder on the bed was very uncomfortable and didn’t feel very safe because of the handle placement. There were loud parties every night I stayed which was heard from the room (maybe because it was the weekends)

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was fine, a little far from Negombo, fairly close to the beach but not on the beachside
