Good location and clean. Included breakfast is great. Staff are super chilled.

Booked a room with air con but only had a fan. Is above a pub so expect a little noise. No house keeping during stay

The location is good.

First the AC's didn't work,there were no facilities THE PICTURES DIDNT MATCH LIKE WHERE ON EARTH IS THE SWIMMING POOL .

There was no AC in the room with balcony, but the facilities given in booking.com included AC.

Staff, rooms and in generelt place wasn’t really nice

The price and the position of the hostel are good, near the train station, surrounded by multiple restaurants. Breakfast was nice. Pub happy hour is nice too, having once in a while live music, and also a pool table.

The room was in complete darkness. Not a single source of natural light. Except a panel on top of the door that during the day didn’t help much, but during the night allowed the streetlight to come in making it difficult to sleep (if light bothers you) Being in the busiest street of Ella, there will be music (that you can hear perfectly) until around midnight. The pool area has very few sunlight hours due to its position and the water was not very clean.

Location

We were looking for something central with a pool. The pool is stagnant with no filter, you’d get ill if you went in. Our room looked unhygienic. Stairs, stairs, and more stairs not ideal with luggage. We stayed for 5 min and walked out Very noisy too

Great location! Short walk from train station and right in town with shops and restaurants.

It does get loud at night as it’s right in town but is fine if you have earplugs!

The breakfast was lovely and the manager.

I wasn’t shown around the property and as it is on a few floors that would have been nice. The rooms had mold in them. My first room had mold and I was moved to another room, the mold was only in bathroom in the second room! There were no other rooms available but I was told I could move the next night. I decided not to and moved on.

The good thing is the price and the pool, nothing more really.

Room without a window, was supposed to have AC but it did not work. Loud music from the pub until 2 am. Cold at night, no blankets. No service either.

It’s central which is good for a solo traveller. Staff friendly and helpful.

It’s on the Main Street lots of noise music on a night. I had good ear plugs. You need them. Not always hot water. Not the cleanest place but ok.

Central location

Location is good for one night if you wanna stay closed to trainstation! Bedaheets were clean and bed comfy.

We didn't have really good experience there. Place was like left behind. Pool was really dirty where it not safe to swim! We stayed there for one night and we had breakfast included. If we asked for breakfast time as we had early morning train to Kandy, they told us 7:00-10:30am and we said then 7am it is! But there was nobody in the morning, we waited till 7:30 and left. Few hours later they started texting us that we need to pay for our room via some machine what they use here in Sri Lanka, because they cant charge you via Booking.com. They also didnt told us when we check in as they knew that we're gonna leave early in the morning. After so many messages we got their bank details and transfered money. Needed to pay extra 6$ for fee! I don't reccomend this place!

The pool was fantastic, such a good chance to escape the business of Ella and unwind. The host was kind and gracious.

It was a very noisy location, above a bar on the main strip.

the lovely enthousiast personal, willing to help you with everything, having a small talk, and everything with a smile 😁😁😁

The staff were all very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was good and half board was exceptionally good value for money, their curries are delicious.

The pillows were too hard for me
