They did not respond to messages, and it was hard to find contact numbers for the hotel. Despite these minor issues but its not big issues.

The stay good and worth the money, the staff was friendly, and they accommodated our late evening check-in smoothly. The overall experience was very nice. However, overall impression remains positive.

If you want a lie in then not for you, very noisy in the morning.

Lovely staff including the owner,very smiley, friendly and helpful all of them. Literally a minute to the beach surrounded by loads of restaurants, lovely garden for chilling. They have a nice cafe. The rooms are very good value for money. I'd stay here again.

The hotel is centrally located to restaurants, motorbike hire, massage and the beach. It has it's own cafe ( great chai and hot chocolate) and Thai restaurant. Our room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed, amazingly quiet and effective air-conditioning and strong shower. Sometimes we had trouble getting hot water though. A bonus was the shampoo and body wash provided.It has a lovely area outside to sit where you can see squirrels and occasionally langurs. The staff were friendly and kind. Would definitely stay here again.

There’s absolutely nothing to dislike

Perfect location within a 5-minute walking distance from the beach (2 with a path through the restaurant). Great spacious room, clean, very comfortable large beds, all the necessary cupboards and small comfy furniture pieces. Hot water at all times. Very neat bath liquids. Delicious coffees and meals at a cafe downstairs (our room was in the second floor). Most important — perfect, very friendly, welcoming, helpful hotel team!

It's the second time we stayed here. Great location - near the best part of the beach: the waves are smaller than on the left part of the beach, and at the same time far enough from the stinky river on the right part of the beach. Decent soundproofing of the rooms - we've booked two adjacent rooms and couldn't hear each other through the wall at all. They provide beach towels daily if you ask. The people who work there are all very friendly ❤️

We had a wonderful stay in a room with a lovely garden view. The hotel is very close to the beach, which made it so convenient for us to enjoy the coastal beauty. The restaurant offered amazing food choices, and we enjoyed every meal. It was also incredibly relaxing to sit in the garden in the evening, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. Overall, the experience was totally worth the money, and I highly recommend this place!

One suggestion for improvement: it would be nice to add a chair and some decorations to the room to better reflect the charming vibe of the café.

Excellent location, just steps away from the beach, as well as restaurants and bars. It has a lovely terrace and café, which are perfect for both relaxing and working. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, it had a small fridge and strong air conditioning—a definite plus in Sri Lanka! The staff are nice and friendly!

Property was clean and in such good location. The cafe is great. The Nutella iced latte was amazing. The staff were so friendly and kindly organised a taxi to the airport for me in the evening and let me leave my bags at the hotel for the day. Would definitely return.

There's only one plug point near the bed so it's not ideal for 2 people to share but we managed for our short stay. The only major downside to the stay was the toilet seat - it was very worn and not set in place comfortably, with a crack in the middle. It was quite loud in the garden view room, as it's right near the cafe and the music etc. from it carry into the room during business hours.

The location is good, a short walk to Unawatuna beach and the beachside restaurants. The room and bathroom were really clean and quite large. The bathroom had really great water pressure.

Why can not the water tap be fixad and not loose in so many hotels.

The food was very good and the personal were positiv, service minded and nice. We liked the open part in the middle of the hotel were you could eat, have a drink etc.

There was only a very thin sheet to sleep under. I would have preferred something a little heavier. This is a small issue and wouldn’t stop me booking again.

Close to the beach, shops and restaurants of Unawatuna. Lovely communal courtyard space where we could sit to work. Great having a cafe/restaurant on site. The Thai food was delicious. Good sized room with balcony. AC worked well. Unawatuna itself felt very safe, and was more touristy than other places we’ve visited (but not hassled) This was good for us, as travelling with children. I let my 10 year old daughter go out to get an ice cream by herself. I was a little concerned about how loud the music was playing in the cafe when we arrived, thinking we were in a party place but it was turned off very early and actually made for a nicer atmosphere.

The wifi in the room was not really good.

Big and clean rooms with a cozy balcony. AC is strong, and water pressure is strong and better than many other places in Sri LankaThe owner and staff did everything to make our stay perfect. It's less than a minute to the beach. Suoer location in the center of Unawatuna beach. The food is traditional and delicious. It's probably the best place to stay in Unawatuna. I can only recommend this hotel. Thank you for the great time. We will miss it.

WiFi in the room was not always working, but the cafe downstairs also has WiFi which worked fine. I don’t expect a cleaning of the room everyday but they didn’t empty the trash or anything (we only stayed 3 nights tho). The building/room is quite old.

Nice room with a balcony and a spacious bathroom. Fridge in the room and good AC + a fan. Very good shower with hot water. The staff is super friendly and the cafe downstairs is very cozy and has good food/drinks :)
