The property is quite secluded and about 1 hour 15 minutes away from Kandy town (not that I necessarily didn’t like this), so it’s best to plan meals in advance as shops aren’t close by. That said, this also makes it wonderfully peaceful and quiet.

The property was absolutely beautiful – stunning sunsets, a lovely pool, and spacious rooms with big balconies and amazing views. The food was incredible and very reasonably priced. The highlight of our stay was Dinesh’s hospitality – he went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of.

We stayed in a double room with a lake view, and everything about our experience was excellent. The location is absolutely beautiful-right by Victoria Lake-and the surrounding area is calm, quiet, and perfect for relaxation. The room was clean, cozy, and comfortable, with an amazing view to wake up to. The infinity pool was another highlight—well-maintained, safe, and a great spot to unwind while enjoying the scenery. We also really enjoyed the food-everything we tried was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was warm and welcoming. It’s easy to access with good parking, although a bit away from major towns—but that just adds to the peaceful vibe if you're looking to disconnect and recharge. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a scenic, quiet, and refreshing getaway!

We stayed at this place for 10 days, and it was one of the most comfortable and beautiful experiences during our entire trip around Sri Lanka. The view from the room is absolutely stunning — you can lie in bed and admire the mountains and a reservoir that looks like a fjord. Truly a magical setting. The room is very spacious (over 50 m²), with high-quality finishes, stylish design, and a small kitchen. We had a huge balcony on the second floor, which was perfect for relaxing. Everything was there: hot water, fridge, a work desk, and great Wi-Fi. The hosts are incredibly friendly and caring. The staff is excellent — always ready to help with anything. The food deserves a special mention: delicious and hearty breakfasts and dinners, everything was prepared with great quality.

Location is awesome. Property is right next to a national park and the views are amazing from the balcony as well as the pool. Food was very fresh and lots of choices. Owners + staff are really friendly, had a great stay at this place. Would definitely recommend!!

Felt that need more room lighting as it flet little darker in the night time. Nothing else to be complained. If Booking.com can provide local currency payment for this place, it'd be better.

Very decent place with pleasent service. Had enjoyed the peace of mind during my stay. Staff was very much flexible and friendly. Served us very good meals and it's really value for money. I'll be coming back again.

Intermittent WiFi.

Fabulous views from the rooms, pool and restaurant. Very peaceful and tranquil. The hotel is quite remote / secluded, ideal for a peaceful retreat. Huge rooms with big windows and balcony to soak up the view. Best shower I had in 3 months in Sri Lanka. Really good, home cooked food at the restaurant. Massive portions and varied breakfasts with multiple dishes. Other restaurants are all a drive away but that doesn't matter with such good food at the hotel. Very friendly service from Dinesh and his sister. They are always on hand to give you a personal service.

We wish we stayed more nights here

Everything, the breakfast was amazing we couldn't even finish it. The room had everything we needed, comfy bed, a spacious shower and even a kitchen even though we didn't make use of it. I wish all accommodations in Sri Lanka were like this. Well done to the host.

Possibly the only downside was getting to the location. But worth the trip.

There was some construction work going on in the restaurant during our stay which detracted somewhat from the peace and quiet of the area otherwise we would have scored 10 for this beautiful guesthouse.

This accommodation was amazing in all regards. The location is absolutely stunning being situated at the far end of the Victoria Reservoir with unobstructed views for many miles. The bedroom and tiled bathroom were both huge and modern. There was touch of luxury in the quality of the bed linen and towels. The large beds being extremely comfortable. There were no barking dogs to disturb our sleep only the sounds of birds in the morning. The swimming pool was also lovely at the end of a long day out. Breakfasts were plentiful and varied. Dinners were the best we have had in Sri Lanka in our 30 days here so far and fairly priced There was a small menu but sufficient for most tastes. The staff and owners were wonderfully hospitable and couldn't do enough for us. They organised a tuktuk for us to the local Dam, and helped with out onward travel arranements.

Balcony is massive but furnished with just two deck chairs and a little table. The bar across the balcony insures some of the view. I suggest two bed chairs and two comfy upright chairs. Whilst we were there building work was taking place. Imagine the beauty of the view and instead of birdsong you have an all-day chainsaw. And not only all-day but up to 2100 as well. Not good enough.

Fantastic view. Amazing in fact. West-facing for afternoon sun and sunset. Nice pool. Food was so good; so much of it and so much flavour. Dilshan and Wasandi were really friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and the shower was powerful and hot. Bed was very comfortable.
