Such a beautiful and indeed calm place. The plants, the birds and this high end hotel in the middle of it. Large bright room, perfect dinner and breakfast made by the chef and all this serviced by the very sympathetic Pubudu. The management is very quick in communication and very helpful in things lije taxitransfers, etc.

Only small things could improve the stay, such as somewhere to put toiletries when taking a shower. And the beds around the pool were either dirty from the trees or in the direct sun and too hot to use. I don't want to complain it was a superb hotel.

The room size the bathroom was enormous. The pool was lovely. The breakfast area was nice. I liked the location. The bed was comfortable.

A beautiful place with a nice swimming pool, big and comfortable (with huge bathroom) and really tasty breakfast. This was the best vacation at Hotel Calm Heaven! I can't express in words how Supun and his wonderful team made our stay unforgettable, easy, and joyful. I am sincerely grateful to every person who was with us during these two weeks! You guys are unforgettable! And the food, wow! We had never had such a delicious dinner anywhere. Thank you! I went with my family , needed Bed space for 3 and the owner happily arranged it and gave us bit early check-in too, I was amazed he didn't even asked my ID or passport or payment instead in advance, Staff was so friendly , Pool is amazing. Room was clean, bathroom is huge, Food was tasty and in good quantity. They even guided us best places to go and easiest way to reach by car. Even after checkout they treated us nicely and asked to be there and use pool as long as we want. I haven't found someone so friendly to guests, specially to Locals. Hotel was full with foreigners and we were the only Local family, but they treated us just like they do to Tourists. Thank you Supun and Staff, we will definitely come back

Fantastic, we had such a lovely stay. The hotel is spotless, we thought it was brand new to be honest. Every thing is just so clean. It’s located close to the city with many restaurants and nice beaches but in a nice quiet area. So you don’t hear traffic or anything except for birds when you are relaxing at the pool. Breakfast was amazing, nice juices, fruits, bread, oatmeal or local options all very tasty! But the staff was absolutely the best.. They are incredible friendly and they go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. The owners must be really proud of this great group of people. We are sad that we have to leave this wonderful place and we can’t wait for our next visit!

Nothing at all, we had a fantastic stay.

Amazing pool. Really relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are huge! Overall a really nice hotel. Aircoditiong also worked really great! The manager was not on site, but still made sure all our needs and wants were met. Good breakfast and the staff was always smiling. They also provide tuktuk service which can bring you to town and back. Because we had our own tuktuk this hotel was a blessing, because it is really a calm haven in the outskirts of the city. Within a few minutes you are in the city Thalpe and Unawatuna and it is a short 20 minute Tuktuk drive to Galle.

I vacationed in March 2024. I liked the hotel very much. Quiet and beautiful place. The staff is very responsive. The rooms are bright and spacious. The breakfast is good. This hotel is a great place for those who are tired of the hustle and bustle of the city and looking for relaxation. It is located 20 minutes walk from the sea. Since there are not so many tourists in the area, it is possible to relax on the nearest beach without crowds of people. I recommend this hotel to everyone for whom price-quality is important.

We liked our big room which has two big windows with a view of the garden and a wonderful bathroom with an authentic design. The staff was really polite and helpful. Breakfast is really large and tasty, we didn't need lunch half of the day after such a breakfast.

Very calm and comfortable place. It takes ~20 minutes on foot to the nearest beach (the Turtle beach where you can swim with sea turtles) and additional ~10 minutes on tuk-tuk/bus to the busy places in Unawatuna/Galle. Our host Supun was very kind and helpful including transfer to the residence and to the airport. The rooms are very big and tidy, the pool is clean, and the place itself is surrounded by beautiful nature. Breakfasts were nice too. We booked this residence the day before the arrival due to unforeseen circumstances with another booking and couldn't be happier once we finally arrived. Highly recommend this place, feels like home.

Everything was great no complaints! Just room for improvement, -have a reception area. (We had instances where we were in need of something and couldn’t find anyone) - have tea/coffee in the room.

-The owner Supun is very hospitable, genuine and down to earth, and will treat every guest equally. - The staff was kind and helpful just like the owner. -I liked that there was no cut off time for breakfast. It takes away the rush in the morning. -The room was clean and very spacious. -Simple filling breakfast.

Theres a nice view from the balcony Special thanks to all the staff giving us an amazing service and hospitality despite how they were a little understaffed during our visit they took great effort to made sure that we had a comfortable stay They checked on us on every possible time. Everything was great.

Hotel Calm Haven was the best stay from our 14 days trip in Sri Lanka. Super large bedrooms, classy shower area, a sparkling clean & a well maintained property with tasteful interiors. Supun and team took great care of us. They customised the breakfast for my family's liking and went to utmost length to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Will highly recommend the property for your next visit to Galle.

This stay was excellent - I was the only guest, and still had a sparkling clean pool, a clean room and excellent service from the staff. They were very attentive and helpful. The breakfast was incredible, and they were kind enough to go above and beyond in other aspects, such as helping me access an ATM and making me the most amazing Sri Lankan lunch.

Pool water had a little too much Chlorine. Price was a little too high for a bed and breakfast stay as can stay in a 5 star hotel for a full board package for a little more.

We had a great stay at Calm Haven, it is exactly what it says; a calm haven. The location was perfect for us, 5 minute ride from the beach and located in a wonderful serene area. Staff were very attentive and made us extremely welcome. Special thanks to Supan, he was fantastic. We were originally considering a hotel on the beachfront, however having stayed here we would return again without hesitation, the beaches get so busy, calm haven is a great place to retreat at the end of a sunny beach day and chill by the pool.

The building is very loud. We had a room under the dining room and every morning at 7am we were awakened because the stuff prepared tables for breakfast. Also when you have inconsiderate neighbors who want to hang out by the pool all night, you hear everything.
