It is a shame that the beach has been washed out by storms a few months ago.

Room was comfortable with balcony overlooking the ocean. Nice pool. Staff very helpful. Nice food. Friendly place and helpful with transport and travel plans. Easy walk to other restaurants.

Splendid small hotel with friendly helpful staff, excellent location and superb seafood and other tasty things to eat. My 4-day stay turned into an 8 day holiday because of the scuba diving nearby and the wonderful experience at this place. I will be back.

Noise from dogs barking. This was due to the fence was on repair so hope it decreases with new fence.

Arranged a really nice guided tour of the coconut process from tree to the products. The guide was helpful and knowledgable. I can highly recommend it. Good location and lovely place for rest and relax.

As other reviewers have said the sea is hard to enjoy when it's windy but accessible otherwise.

It's a calm friendly comfortable place, lovely pool and we had a lovely room although they all look directly to the sea. It was quiet when we were here and the team largely leaves you alone but then will help you as you need. Very enjoyable, wish we could have stayed longer.

For what you pay, its amazing.. if you are a group of people this would be optimal choice as its a hotel with living area and kitchen and all. it gives off a nice vibe, the beach face gives you so peace and i felt it.

Nothing really

Right on the beach where you could swim easily especially in the morning before the waves got bigger. Rooms were good with the resort garden still full of trees with a resident parrot and squirrel I like some where they have concreted over everything. Nice small pool if the waves are too big for you. Easy beach walks past fishing villages and access to kite surfing places if that is what you are looking for.

We had 3 wonderful nights in a spacious room and big balcony overlooking the Indian Ocean. Chani and all the staff were so helpful, kind and made our stay wonderful. We would thoroughly recommend staying at Welle for some R & R.

It’s hard to leave as we love staying there so much and made it hard to get used to other places during the rest of our Sri Lanka stay

Away from town and right on the beach but you don’t need to leave the place at all. They provide all the food you can and want to eat. And it’s the best one you’ll ever find in almost all Sri Lanka. The staff will accommodate almost anything you request. Our 5 year old son loves the friendly dog (Brownie) and the unofficial pet Parrot (even a wild parrot loves this place and keeps coming back daily)

The location was fantastic right on the beach. The staff could not do enough for you and we had a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the sea. We swam in the pool looking at the moon though the palm trees - such a relaxing and beautiful stay.
