no shops in walking distance but you can take a Tuk Tuk to the nearest shops/ grocery stores.

Very nice staff that arranged everything! We went on safari and to the ancient city- everything perfectly arranged through the hotel. The staff was helpful and both the breakfast and dinner were delicious and freshly prepared by the staff!

Lovely hosts who really want to take care of their guests. Spotlessly clean rooms with excellent AC and comfortable beds. Bedlinen was crisp and fresh. We travel budget , which this is, but this was the first bathroom of our holiday that I actually wanted to use. It had hot water, a short curtain and a slightly sloping shower towards the drain. So no flooded floor! Breakfast was also very good. All a joy since it was also on a very quiet street giving an excellent nights sleep.

The house is lovely in a quit location but with an easy reach to town. The breakfast at the terrace are absolutely amazing. Host is kind and helpful.

Staff were exceptionally attentive. Breakfasts were delicious; on our 3rd day we were asked if we would like the sri lankan breakfast- it was great, thank you. Room was very comfortable. Reception area was very pleasant. We did a lot of walking around the ancient city.

We arrived early and the host manage to give us a room directly. The rooms were spacious and had good air condition. Quiet surroundings. The host gave us good recomendations for local restaurants.

The building may be great, but the interior is nothing short of beautiful and cozy. We really liked the breakfast saloon and the terrace invites you to have a beer at the end of the day. The staff was really helpful give is directions for the walkers restaurant nearby and the buses we had to take the last day.

The MOST AMAZING owners you could ever imagine. So-so naturally and gently cary! Very positive, smart, beautiful and interesting personalities, they do their business with all their hearts, so you will find the hotel: very cozy and spacious, super clean and tidy, decorated with paintings made by one of the owners ❤️ They helped us to arrange the tuk-tuks and and safari to Wilpattu with low prices and lovely drivers, did our loundry (huge amounts) in a short period of time. The breakfast was amazing: various and beautiful, it contained both european and national srilankian food. Beds were comfortable to sleep, bedrooms - accurately maintained and renovated.
