AustraliaIt's badly insulated, so you hear everything happening in the corridor, downstairs and in other rooms. It shouldn't be an issue most of the time as very few people stop in Hettipola
The owners are so so nice. They cooked us a gigantic and delicious dinner and breakfast at a great price. The rooms are nice and comfortable. AC works well (it was very hot when we were there).

Sri LankaThe owner and the landlady are two kind-hearted people. They were helpful with any problems and did their best to help. The dinner is more than sumptuous and also extremely tasty. It is also very reasonably priced! The room was neat, clean and spacious. The bathroom too. The beds are a real dream! Many thanks again for the lovely time and the tuktuk right in the morning :)

United KingdomThere were a few things that were a little tired - the tap was very loose, there was a hole in the bathroom door, and the Aircon wasn't very effective so the night was quite stuffy. It's okay for a stopover before safari. The place is also a venue so very big and the staff were there on arrival but it was difficult to find them at times despite searching for them. We drove into town for food but if you don't have your own vehicle there isn't much nearby.
A good location for Wasgamuwa national park (20 mins from the park). The room was spacious and clean. We were grateful that they let us leave our bags for our morning safari. Staff were kind and friendly, although communicating was a little difficult.
