Not much. No wifi/service but for us that was not an issue.

The staff here are so lovely and attentive. Room is great and has good AC and shower. Location is spot on also, its 5 minute drive to the park.

Only very minor, but there were some small crack in the doors leading directly to the outside, which I think made it easier for mosquitoes to enter to room and unnerved us a bit since it is very rural. I think this should be an easy fix with some wood glue, and really this is not a big problem at all.

A great property in the forest right next to the road leading to Wilpattu (maybe 5 minutes from the entrance!). It is run by two charming ladies, who made sure everything was very comfortable for us, brought us fresh juices on our arrival, and allowed us to keep our luggage there for the entire day. The bed is very comfortable, the scenery is beautiful, and it is very well kept. A wonderful place to stay if you are visiting Wilpattu.

Our experience here was excellent. The hosts were very friendly and made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The location is charming and quiet, with lovely surroundings. Everything was clean and well cared for, and we truly appreciated the hospitality. Highly recommended!

Staff are so lovely and helpful it was a very memorable stay and it is well located to reach Wilpattu park entrance. They do great dinners and were able to cater for gluten and dairy free, including the breakfast and lunches that are packed for the safari

We found a small frog and some mosquitos in the room but it's to be expected. It is in the wilderness after all.

We stayed here to be close to the safari in Wilpattu. It was a very nice stay with huts surrounded by trees and tranquility. We enjoyed the homemade food provided for dinner and a lovely traditional Sri Lankan breakfast. We met the owner on the second day and he took us for a walk around the fields He explained some interesting facts about the animals and birds and we even saw elephant tracks. We weren't so lucky in the safari so this made up for it. We enjoyed relaxing on the hammock after the safari. The place is relatively new and seems that they are working on improving the facilities. I think that it will be even nicer once completed. Highly recommended.

The room was very clean, cozy and with AC. The workers are very warm and helpful. They prepare home-made food which is amazing. Also we arranged with them a safari which we had to cancel because of sickness and they helped us in everything without any charge.

New accommation in a quiet surrounding with lots of trees. Run by two young woman. Very friendly, good dinner and breakfast. A real recommendation.

The safari was with a very rude guide who brought his girlfriend along. They didn't say or asked us anything for the whole day. They ignored us and just drove around. It would be nice if we'd known what was going on or what time the tour was going to end or if we could pick the moment to eat or to take a break or to record or photograph the animal a bit longer ... But nothing, no communication, just unfriendly looks and a lot of sleeping during the time we pay them for a safari. During lunch they slept for a very long time. Then again they took a nap on a 'quick bathroom break' wich we didn't know about. We just guessed since he just stopped, got out and walked away without saying a thing. So we had to assume everything the whole day. "Ah i think we have to pee now" "Ah maybe there is an animal somewhere" "Ah they are sleeping, the break is probably going to be long" (They slept in the car, we are on top of the car without airco just waiting) He spoke perfectly English.... When we said something or made a confusing, annoyed face to him, the girl just laughed in our face. Very rude. It was probably very fun for them that we paid 70 dollar entrance fee for a date-day for this couple. We were the only ones on the safari and had the feeling that we were very unwanted on their date. Awful experience. Horrible people. The hotel was fine but please do not take this guide. Also we paid way too much for the ride to the busstop. (5 min ride, 1000 rps) This was an old skinny man who didn't speak English. So if they arrange a ride, discuss the price beforehand.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very nice and sweet girls. The food was good. The room was clean. But there is wildlife all around, bugs or frogs are part of the experience.

A great place for anyone who wants to relax, recharge, and enjoy some peace and quiet in nature. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and do everything to make you feel comfortable and at home. The local people are always smiling and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The food is delicious — homemade, traditional, and cooked with love, just for you. The rooms are new, with a big, comfy bed, and there's hot water in the shower. In the mornings and evenings, it’s amazing to sit on the terrace, listen to the birds, and watch the monkeys. If you’re planning a trip to Wilpattu, make sure to stay at this resort! P.S. I’d say this is the best resort in the area.

Hosted by a lovely family, really friendly and showed us around the local area. The evening meal was delicious, and were given juices and coffees also throughout the stay. Surroundings were beautiful and peaceful and perfect location for exploring the national park. Accommodation was newly built, clean and comfortable.

Beautiful new family owned place. We had an amazing dinner. Staff is more then friendly, showed us around the village. Generally an awesome experience. 10/10!
