A lovely homestay perfect for families. Very friendly hosts. Opportunity to make cooking class. Help with organizing everything and with every problem we had. Also very good for just relaxing in the garden. The location is perfect for a relaxing stay not too far away from the main attractions and the busy main road if needed. Very nice breakfast and dinner as an option, which we took every day.

If you want to experience authentic Sri Lankan living, this is the place. We had a very nice time with the host family and also joined the cooking class. The location is perfect to visit all the sights in Sigirya.

Our favourite Homestay during our trip. We felt like part of the family as soon as we arrived. It was like having your own Grandma looking after you bringing cinnamon tea and biscuits after a long walk. We ate dinner here every night as the food was so good and cheap. We did the cookery class too which was a highlight our stay and my daughter is now working her way through the Wish Prabha cookbook. Clean room, no mosquito bites at all. I love how they grow everything and it’s all organic, something they pride themselves on. A bit out of the way but this only added to the experience listening to all the animals and insects about. Perfect. We miss you already.

Lovely homestay closeby the lake. Kumara and his family are fantastic hosts and make sure you're well fed (the delicious food is all organic with produce from their own farm). Room is spacious and clean.

Loved the tranquil location close to the lake and a bit away from the main road, but it makes be a bit hard to reach at nighttime.

Beautiful family with excellent service and breakfast. It’s also near a photo spot where you can see the Sigiriya rock reflected in the pond. Kumara was very helpful with helping us book tuktuk and tours for our travels. Thank you!

Shower water wasn’t always hot but it’s spring water from their own well plus weather was too hot anyway!

The natural setting of this home besides a lake and a farm. This family's hospitality is truly good. They care about the food they serve. Its very much felt like home. Kids enjoyed playing bunnies and the dogs. They look like stray dogs but they're taken care by homeowners. Water from tap is potable and we enjoyed the natural occurring water.

This isn't a con given if you enjoy the setting of the home. The path is unpaved and wasn't easily visible. One has to walk 50meters or so to find the home.

This is the best homestay we’ve done. A lovely family who went above and beyond to welcome us and make us feel safe and comfortable. They prepared us the best food we had in Sri Lanka: tasty curries, roti and more with all the ingredients coming fresh from their organic farm. Kumara gave us a brilliant tour of the farm, as well as all the best things to see in the area. He even took us to our next destination, and arranged pickup from the airport. It’s also right next to a nice lake. Definitely stay here!

Extraordinary place with wonderful hosts. For guests who are interested in nature and organic farming, also vegan or vegetarian food this is paradise. We had a wonderful time ate delicious home cooked food from fresh farm vegetable, and were invited to experience real Sri Lanka family life. There are cooking classes, the host has a tuktuk he took us to Polunaruwa,and to Pidurangala rock at a fair price.

It is near one of the lakes reachable only by tuktuk ( not by car) . 20 min.walking to Sigiriya which was nice for us . There is no sign for the homestay so it is best to call the host then you will be picked up from Sigiriya. That's the easiest way to reach there.

Had a great time. The room was very spacious and clean. Breakfast and dinner were tasty. We were driven around everywhere for a decent price. The hosts were super nice and helpful. The room is in the middle of a beautiful garden and the homestay is close to a lake with an amazing view. Would definitely recommend this homestay!

Clean and comfortable room. Authentic homestay beautiful location near the lake amazing view lionrock. Foods super we re join cooking with her our dinner all are organic thare garden growing vegetables and everything. Her show us how to male spices ❤
