Although the cafe and the outside garden with children's playground were absolutely stunningly beautiful, the rooms upstairs felt a bit worn by time. It was quite comfy there, but the carpet on the floor seemed a bit dirty, there were loose baseboards, the toilet was continuously running, the back slate of the bed came off etc. The place definitely needs some refreshment. The most disturbing thing for me was that there were no curtains on the windows, so I was woken up by sun which was shining right to my face in the morning.

The most positive thing would be the location, it is just in the centre of Lithuania, if you want to go from west to east Lithuania and also if you want to go north and south to go abroad and visit Latvia or Poland. The staff was very friendly who welcomed us generously. This house was a cafe with a motel on top of it, so you could either eat there, put gasoline to your car(because the 24h open gas station was next to it) and if wanted, sleep there. So everything was there. It was nice that the breakfast was also included, which was quite delicious. In the summertime this place could also suit for families with children, because of the playground outside. So very good value for money.

Waze and Google Maps had some difficulties to find a right place, but when I used cafe, it worked better. According to instructions we had to be there not later than at 20.00, but for a overnight on the road the later check in time would have been a bonus. For breakfest it is a selection of dishes from the menue pancakes, salat, omlett, large portions. But for example no yogourt, if you happen to have a selective person in your family, this might be an issue. In some rooms you can here the trafic.

Clean ruumis, breakfast available, easy to park, air conditioner. Petrol statiion next to the building. Very good place to stay overnight when coming or going from Estonia.

Two days after staying here, I caught norovirus that gave me intense diarreah and stomach cramps for 4+ day nows. I don't know if i caught the virus at the motel, but the cafe is very busy with tour bus arrivals. Bear in mind, wash your hands with soap and water frequently.

It's a good price for a double room, but the bed was a little small. There was a/c in the room. Not enough electrical outlets (only 2). The cafe was full in the evening and it's a busy place with catering to tour buses. There were a lot of people coming and going.

Windows can't be covered with curtains. We had to improvise a makeshift curtain from a blanket so the kids could sleep :)

First of all, I received no email response to my request for a late check-in, so I had to call. But then it was easily sorted out. We didn't get any instructions as to how to get in, so we had to try all the doors (behind the building, first door clockwise). Second, we could barely sleep the first night since the traffic from the highway was so loud, and it didn't seem to matter whether the window is open or not. Which was just as well because the room was very overheated. On the second night, we moved to a different room which was not directly facing the highway and the noise improved greatly. There was a sulfur stench from both bathrooms, but to be fair, maybe not much can be done about that.

We arrived after check-in hour but the keys was left for us at the gas station next door so that was very convenient! After our complaints we actually got a new room for the second night, which was a great improvement. The breakfast was nice.

A party in the function room on our second night with loud, thumping music from the afternoon right through to the early hours. No sleep that night.

Location and breakfast were excellent. Bed was really comfortable and room a good size. Restaurant was open for other meals, which were good value.

When arriving at this hostel, the room did not correspond to what I ordered on the Internet, there was no room for 3 adults and 2 children, so we were offered an even smaller room as an alternative, complete stupidity. Even more so, the fact that the first room smelled like an animal had died there and it was impossible to stay. So I said we would not be staying here and went to look for another hotel. The last place to visit, I do not recommend to anyone!

There was nothing to like here. If only for the fact that the gas station is nearby! :D
