How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewThe location, the view, the balcony and size of room are really good.
We live in the city center and wanted a romantic getaway, so we’re familiar with higher prices. Still, the hotel was €136 without breakfast and €180 for two with breakfast—definitely on the expensive side. The breakfast itself was fine, nothing special. The spa was under construction and therefore non-existent, and both power outlets by the bed didn’t work. The Sensa restaurant was the biggest disappointment. Visually appealing, yes—but completely overpriced for what you get. We had chicken thighs for €33 and 180g of flank steak (the cheapest cut on the menu) for €39. The ribeye—if they had it—was listed at €77 for 300g. How does that make sense? €15 for a glass of rosé but only €8 for a Pinot Gris? The pricing is all over the place. Taste-wise, the food was passable at best—not bad, but nowhere near worth the price. We only tried the Parrilla dishes, so we can’t comment on the rest of the menu. Dessert was another letdown: the crème brûlée had no real flavor, and the brownie was just okay, the only thing that slightly saved the meal.

Verified reviewIt’s new. Tastefully furnished. My room was large. Nice bathroom. Great view. Generous food helpings, nice in nature.
I think (and hope) these are teething problems: Dog hair on my bed linen and elsewhere Plugs next to bed and bed lights weren’t working Worst of all was smoking from neighbours somewhere, horrible! So I had to keep my balcony door closed. This is not fair. I reported all the above and did not even receive an apology (except for the dog hair (which I reported immediately, the rest on checking )).

Verified reviewRemote location. Beautiful hotel. Clean. Great lake view. On site restaurant is amazing. Breakfast was worth it. Service was great. Very dig friendly, they had dog beds, tous, bowls, and treats ready for our pups when we arrived.
There was nothing not to like.

Verified reviewThe hotel is very well built and new. There is a refined atmosphere. The restaurant is very nice. Rooms are spacious and well thought out. Great electric car charging. Breakfast was especially nice and the selection of wine in the restaurant was excellent.
There is no gym at all. They are building a big gym building but in the meantime they should repurpose a conference room or similar as a temporary gym. The formal restaurant is very nice but it is too much with children. The bar needs a simpler, cheaper menu which is available with long hours. This is especially important as the hotel is isolated (with Central European hours - ie short - for local restaurants), so it could be easy to be stranded without suitable food. One one occasion we arrived back in the evening having been out all day and the housekeeping were just starting to clean our room, which was bizarre. It may have been a one off but it is not normal in a hotel at that price.

Verified reviewNewly built hotel in a perfect location. Quiet and comfortable room with great amenities. Good free parking, and a separate area for motorcycle parking right at the entrance. The surroundings are great with excellent walking/running trails in the forest, and lake views. Top breakfast.
Nothing I could find.

Verified reviewThe location is nice and everything looked very new and fancy.
Our room had a big wet spot at the entrance and we got a disinterested response from the reception, they also couldn't do anything about it. The doors to the room next to ours was unlocked and the door on our side couldn't fully close.

This structure has not a garage at all or even just a car port to repair by night motorbikes or bikes. Weather can be very bad and this is missed

Verified reviewA lakeside and woodside location and a relatively new building, cleverly designed to create a harmonious atmosphere. The rooms were spacious and the beds both spacious and comfortable. Each room has its own balcony. The restaurant has a great atmosphere in the evenings.
Although the rooms were nicely designed, the dim lighting made it difficult to read.

Verified review- A modern hotel with modern rooms. - I enjoyed my staying because of the design walk in shower (could slip, use bath slippers). - Spacious balcony ( 2 chairs & 1 table present) where u enjoy looking at the nature end the lake. - You can sign in with your private account to Netflix or Youtube and stream (Super facility). - The isolation was perfect, no sounds or what so ever. - I slept like a baby on the mattress. - Enjoyed the tea & Coffee machine in the room and the refrigerator. - Airco works perfect. - The staff were kind. For instance: i opened the lid of the pan holding scrambled eggs, which was empty. Within a second a staff member showed up and ordered het colleague to prepare fresh made scrambled eggs. Very nice gesture, surprising me positively.
- Disposable bath slippers would be perfect. - I did not use the Restaurant or the bar so no comments concerning that.

Verified reviewClean and good Comfort, good beds. Friendly staff
Due to a brief fire Alarm, we had not water in the bathroom anymore. No information about what was going on. 50 Euro for a dog for 1 night seems a bit too much, even if it is a forfait price.

Restaurant was on the pricy size.
