I would like to thank the host for an exceptional welcome after a long, hard day of trekking! It was very kind of the host to accommodate our requests (for instance, microwaving our dinner), making us feel very welcome. The breakfast was also good—we were offered a variety of cheese and bread, along with plenty of coffee and tea. We are vegetarians, so I cannot describe the meat.

I would have appreciated a bit more variety, for instance, some salad options for vegetarians... hummus, spreads, olives, etc.

Comfortable, quiet, good breakfast, friendly host.

Too far from town - had to drive.

    Property response:

Hello Thank you for your kind review About the distance to town… It is clearly stated on Booking, that the B&B is 1800m from the center. So everybody has the choice to look for an accomodation in town, or like ours, a place just outside in the nature. Have a nice day Patrick & Géri

Patrick is a very approachable and welcoming host, very knowledgeable about the surroundings and very attentive to any needs. The rooms were spacious enough, comfortable and had a great shower.

Great value for money: - spacious and a clean room, spotless and well equipped bathrooms. - quiet location yet, few minutes by car to main roads, shops and Echternach town centre - great base to explore Mullerthal and venture out to Luxembourg and Trier. - Patrick is a friendly , helpful and multi lingual host.

Breakfast at 15 Euros per person is a little overpriced.

The B&B was peaceful and quiet, providing the ideal atmosphere to relax and unwind. I enjoyed my first stay so much that I’ve already returned for a second visit. I highly recommend this B&B for anyone looking for a comfortable and serene getaway. I’ll definitely be back again!

I wish I had stayed more than one night!

Very quiet place close to Echternach, spacious and comfortable rooms with all you need after a day of hiking! This B&B is in operation since one year, and all is still brand new. I really enjoyed my stay there and would certainly stay again when travelling in the area.

A spacious room with comfy bed. Fairly minimal decor wise. Quiet location (tho occasionally heard neighbouring guests). Fantastic shower! Friendly and very helpful hosts. We chose not to take the breakfast so can't comment on that..

Maybe ask Google to adjust the location of the B&B on Googlemaps. We foolishly relied on that only to discover it was an extra 1km out of town! So more of a walk than expected. Not the end of the world, but it's worth fixing.

We enjoyed our first stay at B and B Alferweiher very much, thoughtfully designed accommodation, engaging host, super breakfast and allowed to use the Breakfast Room in the evening to relax with a drink.

Excellent breakfast. B&B Host is very knowledgeable about the region. Helpful!

The room setup is rather functional. A few more amenities would have been nice.

    Property response:

Thank you for your feedback. I would have liked to know what further furnishings you would like? There is a large bed (180x200) with bedside tables and lighting including USB ports. 2 chairs and a side table. An open wardrobe and a rack to place the suitcase. A bathroom with shower, toilet, sink, mirror and make-up mirror, large and small towels, various soaps. Free WIFI Individually adjustable underfloor heating. A television with satellite connection. Information folder about the B&B and suggestions for Echternach. Access 24/24 and 7/7 to the breakfast room where there is a table and 2 chairs for each room. There is also a sofa and a selection of brochures from the region. Here you will also find our honesty bar with coffee, tea and a fridge full of drinks, which are available for a small fee. We have also displayed the walking map of the region. A generous breakfast is offered and we also try to meet the wishes of our guests if necessary or desired. Sufficient free parking space directly next to the rooms. If desired, use our wallbox for electric cars (of course for a fee). Trash can in the room and also the possibility to separate waste outside the rooms. What else should a B&B offer to meet all wishes? This is not a criticism of your comment, this is our wish to know what could be improved. Have a nice day Patrick & Géri
