The pool The castle Amazing breakfast Absolutely awesome spa! Very cool bar!

Cave spa could do with being open later as hard to fit it all in if only one night. Would have been nice to go and relax after dinner there.

Our original room lacked air conditioning and had noise from nearby construction. The staff promptly offered us excellent alternatives for an additional fee

No air condition in 2nd floor ..

Lovely property in a fun location. Beautiful countryside. Our room was quite lovely.

We wished there had been another large chair in our room so we had a comfortable place to sit and read and relax.

Beautiful hotel with easy access by car. Good size outdoor pool which was heated. Excellent breakfast with a cold press juicer for healthy juices of your liking.

Our room had visible mold in the roof and walls which made us both fell fatigued and unwell. Lucky we only had booked one night as we wanted to leave immediately the next morning.

The rooms are very cosy and well equipped with kettle, coffee maker, small fridge, bathroom essentials etc which is convenient. We asked for an iron also. The Spa section very nice and well equipped, specially the red submerged underground cave which provided an exotic experience.

Access to the Spa is quite expensive since they make you pay 60€/person per day. Items in the minibar also need to be paid for. And sometimes you hear corridor noise when in the room.

The location was beautiful and very peaceful. The castle itself is lovely to look at and creates a special atmosphere. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. The outdoor pool was also a nice change of pace and large enough to swim a few proper laps. The room itself was beautiful, but the bed was only acceptable and could have been more comfortable. If you have a room facing the courtyard, it can get quite noisy, and when the fire pit is lit, smoke can fill the entire room if you forget to close the window before leaving. I couldn’t sense the level of refined perfection the hotel appeared to advertise.

The spa was really disappointing. An additional fee was charged on top of the room rate, which felt unreasonable given the hotel’s overall quality level—I would have expected much more, especially when you stay for five days and expect access to facilities like these to be included. In the end, it simply wasn’t worth the money. There are only two small saunas, and the sauna heaters are so loud that real relaxation isn’t possible. The whirlpool is nice, but the “cave pool” is more of a gimmick than something genuinely useful. The steam baths were probably the best part.

A 4-star hotel actuallyl worthy of the name. Absolutely beautiful hotel and wonderful room. Very comfortable and with great service. Excellent spa. Very good restaurant. Nice outdoor pool area as well and cosy court yard area. I like that they did not charge extra for parking, and that everything (food, drinks, spa activities) we're put on the room and all paid together at checkout. It made for a more relaxed feeling. Excellent breakfast ( juicer for fruit/veg was a nice touch). Staff very friendly, polite and helpful. We fully enjoyed it and will definitely be back.

    Nothing. Everything was excellent.

Gorgeous location, excellent restaurant, friendly staff and just a luxurious treat!

To access the spa, even as a guest you had to pay €60 pp on top of the room fees

The rooms looked amazing and were very clean. The shower is the best I've had in any hotel ever and I've been to plenty of hotels all over the world for both business and pleasure. Breakfast provided plenty of options to choose from and all were fresh and high quality. Ample space to sit outside, both in the sun as well as in the shade, also for breakfast and lunch. Also nice pool and sun terrace. From the outside the chateau also looked great. Very well maintained, with immaculate walls and roof, very photogenic. Even the copper ornaments on the tip of the towers looked like they'd just been polished. There is also plenty of free parking space behind the chateau. Overall we had an amazing stay with the family.

Especially later in the evening it could take quite a while before a waiter would stop by to take your drinks order when sitting outside on the chateau's courtyard terrace, and also for your drinks to arrive after the order was taken. With the breakfast, while there was plenty of space to sit both inside and outside to enjoy your breakfast, the room where the breakfast buffet was laid out was quite small. So it could get quite busy in there in the mornings and a bit difficult to pass each other with the trays at times. Also, there were no rails or anything like that attached to the countertops to rest your tray on, so sometimes you had to juggle a bit balancing it on inconvenient surfaces while you were getting your breakfast items. Lastly, but this applies to almost all hotels in my experience, it would have been nice if the pool would have been bigger and deeper, and with more loungers around the pool.

This place has all of our friends asking where this place is located based on our pics there. It's just amazing, the spa is dreamy, the outside pool was nice on the sunny days. The evening campfire in the courtyard was comforting. The breakfast, simply amazing. The downstairs bar is something to be experienced our bartender was kind and friendly! The restaurant was very nice, and the food was delicious. The staff goes above and beyond on every level. I love WWII history and just knowing the history involved with this facility is worth a visit in and of itself. Knowing this made the stay even more enjoyable experiencing the care and attention this place gets, it's evident, everywhere where you look. Absolutely magical stay here. Can't wait to go back there some day!!

The only thing I didn't like is that we only could stay three nights. I'd buy this place and retire there if it were possible.
