Breakfast was offered outside usual times (as we had to leave to an event), room and bathroom were big and really clean. The restaurant was really great as well.

The room we received was a handicapped room, even though we did not book it. Even though it was spacious it was very sterile with no homey touches as seen on the website photos. The shower did not have a curtain and the water went everywhere. The room was on the busy main street side, which meant we could not open any windows as it felt like we were playing in traffic.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, also the restaurant has a good menu and great food. The local beer they serve is also delicious.

A perfect hotel and more, perfect restaurant. We ordered the steaks for 2, and grilled at perfection, so was the mear. It was a pleasure to stay there and we will remember this hotel for next trips. Regards Teresa and Alexander. Estepona, Spain.

A disappointing aspect of this visit was the half-board evening meal. It was well below the standard of my previous visits, but still adequate.

I have stayed here several times before, and will stay again. The rooms are large but with basic pine fittings. Quite comfortable. The hotel has a brewery and the draught beers are excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful but basic.

Reception was difficult to find from the car park at the rear. Getting to the room involved negotiating heavy fire doors & tiled stairways. The lack of a lift made access difficult with luggage & I would not recommend this place for anyone with mobility issues.

THE FOOD !, really good quality served in generous portions in their own pub / restaurant, which is nicely informal; lovely ! Nice quiet semi rural location gave us a view on to spring time cattle in the field opposite, very clean generous sized room with comfy bed. Very friendly host

breakfast was a bit limited

The best bit about this hotel is the super restaurant. The bathrooms are a little dated, but overall the rooms are spacious comfortable and clean. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world, but I have rarely seen better teamwork between the staff. well done.

My room was next to the road, in the ground floor, and the traffic was a bit annoying at night

Booking. com messed up with my reservation and they didn't notify the hotel. I arrived after the check in time, and the woman at the reception, even though she couldn't see the reservation in the computer, she arranged a room for me. Also the cook there prepared a delicious meal for me after the kitchen was closed. 10/10 The room was big, and the beds, comfy.

The hotel is well appointed, the staff are exceptionally helpful and accommodating. The evening meal superb. The craft beer produced on the premises extremely good.

A very bland room with worn-out furniture. I've seen many hotel rooms in my life, but never were they as disappointing and depressing as this one. It felt like we'd been dumped in a hot attic room. There were also absolutely no luxuries, like a refrigerator. This prompted us to immediately pack our things and move to a better, more luxurious hotel. The staff member didn't even bat an eye when I returned the key and left. Actually, one star is too much of a rating.

We could not sleep, bed bugs were biting us all night (I am glad we only had one night!) there was no ventilation in the room (not even a tiny one in the bathroom!) the rooms are right next to a road which is not as empty as you might think, trucks going through it almost all night, 5 meteres away from where you put you head on the pillow, and you really cannot close the windows to make it better (especially when its warm) The facilities were as basic and and minimum as it gets (and cheap!) however it was over priced for what you've been offered. Not recommended at all!

The staff was very welcoming, and the hotel was nice. The food was excellent and the portions great. We travelled by bike and we found it safe to have the bike parked on the compound
