Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. A perfect place for a couple, especially if you have a car (on the other hand, you may reach Vichten with a public bus which is, of course, free in Luxembourg). The room is very spacious, clean, well-equipped (including a coffee machine), the area is quiet, there is a balcony. There is a bakery and a grocer's store in the same building. The staff is very friendly and helpful. To sum up, we really recommend the hotel. We liked it so much that we came back here once again a few days later. You will not regret it either!

A perfect place for a couple, especially if you have a car (on the other hand, you may reach Vichten with a public bus which is, of course, free in Luxembourg). The room is very spacious, clean, well-equipped (including a coffee machine), the area is quiet, there is a balcony. There is a bakery and a grocer's store in the same building. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Upon departure, we forgot a pair of shoes in the room by accident: the reaction of the staff was very friendly and helpful, it was no problem to arrive once again and take them. To sum up, we really recommend the hotel. We liked it so much that we came back here once again a few days later.

The room is very modern, spacious, love the bed linens and towels. Breakfast was fresh and had everything what we wanted. We had a great stay there. Will go back again.

Not something I did not appreciate per say but we were unlucky to stay when the restaurant was closed for two days. We tried the restaurant food the first evening and wish we could have tried it again because it was very good!
Location is great! In the countryside but not far from the tourist sites to visit. The staff is very friendly and nice. The room was spacious and very comfortable. We stayed with our dog and it was big enough for the three of us. Breakfast was nice.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The room was spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, with a large bathroom that made everything feel even more luxurious. But the real highlight was the staff…everyone was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. Highly recommended!

The restaurant area just next to our room was quite loud until late on our first night, but no complaints about our second night. There is nothing particularly special to visit in the village this hotel is located in.
The staff was super friendly. In addition, there is a great brasserie/restaurant to enjoy some food at lunch or in the evening. The rooms were impeccable, facilities were great and the hotel service was excellent. Even being a smaller hotel, it was everything you can expect from a full fledged hotel with all the facilities you can think of. Lastly, there is plenty of parking available and the place is well-marked.

The staff is so incredibly helpful and nice. They went out of their way to make our stay the perfect escape for new years eve. They even called us when we had questions about restaurant reservations to help us. The room was very nice, clean, comfortable bed and very nice breakfast. I would definitely come back here next time im in Luxemburg!

Just hope to not have a too noisy neighbour.
Not a lot of choice for breakfast, but still ok. Restaurant (not open every week day) is good, I enjoyed my diner.

Great location, beautiful hiking spots nearby. Bakery right next to the hotel. Absolutely gorgeous rooms. Great tv, tech. Huge bed and spacious bathroom. We had a room with a terrace and it was beautiful. The restaurant was delicious and the people are super friendly.

The hotel is the midst of beautiful, cozy countryside, but with modern technology and tasteful design. The warm hospitality and friendly staff are so welcoming. The restaurant has amazing selection of food and drinks, and so delicious! Overall we rate this property super and quality in Luxembourg.
