Not too comfy, not spotlessly clean - but that is to be expected from this kind of accommodation.

If you expect a camping-site-hut style of accommodation, you won't be disappointed. Bonus points for the minizoo - I counted 50+ species, kids loved it.

The apartment is worn out, with bad smell, not renovated for a long time. It is OK for a short stay, but need to know what to expect.

Unusual place where you can feel a bit of a rural life. Staff was helpful and ready to answer our questions. We stayed in the big apartment, which was spacy, clean and well equipped. The zoo is big with many animals, but it's a bit dirty. Local farm products.

Well there's no fridge in the room. Only the shared fridge and only one shelf for the 4 person family. So you will have to consume everything and refill it after shopping every single day. The kettle in our room was not working so we used the shared one in the kitchen that was not far away from our cottage.

This place is suitable only during summer time and in a sunny or cloudy but no rainny day. The zoo is in the suburbs of the town Ventspilis. The see is really far away and it's imposible to walk to the see. You will always have to drive. It's most suutable for overnight. There's a place for the grill it's good. The WC and shower was in a separate building but it wasquite clean. There was hot water. But we were lucky to have a wonderful weather so no problem. Our cottage was far away from the animals so no smell has been felt. The othe areas are so lucky.

The rooms were a bit cold during the night. The patio’s light infront of the house didnt work. Toilets are in a separate house, i dont like to get dressed every time i need to go to toilet. Water in the toilet and bathroom smelled very bad. The animals in the mini zoo seemed like they’re in a too small cage for them, camel didn’t have any water and the mini zoo could use some renovation. We stayed in house number 3 where we didnt have any wifi, even though we were promised wifi.

Good to stay there for 1 night, cheap price. Stayed in tiny houses, rooms were somewhat clean maybe a bit dusty here and there but survived. Plenty of activities to do there; they had a mini zoo, a playground and you could also play volleyball there. Small house came with a fireplace and a small grill.

Everything met my expectations

This is the closest as you can be to experience Latvian nature without going to the woods. The host was friendly and helpful. There were animals from all over the world in petting zoo. Very cute 😍 The next best thing to be in the tent. It's eco tourism, glamping the old fashion way 🙂

Basic need is met just don’t expect for the best.

There is a mini zoo which is free for the room guests. Many animals than we expected. Quiet place, close to nature.

We had a double room and had to share one toilet and bathroom with 2 other 4-bed numbers which had families with kids, so it was impossible to use them in the morning/evening; the bed was also very uncomfortable. The farm animals were cute, but some of them seemed to be in a space that's too small for them.

The area and rooms were great, animal farm was interesting. Breakfast buffet is a great value for money.

There was no stove. Room was very hot in daytime but fortunately we get it a little cooler with blinders and a fan.

It felt like we came to granny's farm. Every place was olddated but spotless. I had very cozy and safety feeling when I started to sleep in soft panda-sheets :) Ever our teenager son loved mini zoo!

It was dirty. Cottages are very old, just painted. Bed linen dirty, with holes. Beds, mattresses and bed linen is not appropriate for hotel at all Territory is dirty. Private zoo is very disappointing, never I saw so dirty animals and they are really hungry. We were with kids and needed to stay for 1 night, decided to choose this place because of private zoo but both cottage and zoo were disappointing.

I would recommend to pay attention to cleanliness and to change pillows, bed linen and mattresses. What is offered is awful

Bad conditions for animal,walking paths are old and broken. Kitchen inventory so old,not much expenses to buy new cup for clients...the price for such conditions is too high.

Family room (in the main building) was a very bad smell. Maybe because of age or because of heating with coal. No net on the window.

Bonus - free entry to the mini zoo. On Fridays property smokes chicken (12eur/chicken).
