There were two things that we didn’t like. 1. It was impossible to lock the doors to the house. There was a key, but it didn’t work. Of course, one might say that nothing could happen, and it was indeed very quiet and peaceful. However, I really think that having the option to lock the door should be the bare minimum. 2. The beds on the top floor were very good. However, on the ground floor, the beds were not suitable for sleeping, and the chair that could be extended into a bed was broken. That said, despite these shortcomings—which can be easily fixed—we really loved staying at this house.

This place is great for a family vacation. There are farm animals (rabbits, dogs, small pigs) that you can pet, and you can also fish in the pond. The city is nearby, where you can buy everything you might need. We would also like to praise the young host of the house. He was wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. The children really enjoyed his company.

Great place in the middle of the nowhere if you love nature, calm environment and chilling. We also booked jakuzzi tub and it was perfect, owner managed to organize perfect temperature. We hoped to see some animals but due to winter they are probably all inside.

Bad smell coming from water taps, were scared to drink it but we brought our own water

Photos don't do it justice. We had an amazing relaxing stay. Really nice accommodation with a view to the river. Ponies and rabbits roaming around us. We loved the jaccuzzi in the evening. Great seating and bbq facilities, we had everything we needed. Will come back if we get a chance.

Maybe if we had the AC running a bit sooner, it wouldn't have been too hot to sleep upstairs. When we first went to sleep we had a situation where I was cold downstairs but the other party was still hot upstairs. To be honest, it had been a really warm weather for the month of may. Some curtains downstairs would have been nice as the sun rises over the lake.

Definitely an accommodation to remember for years to come! We were welcomed by pristine nature. Check in went smoothly at the time we had agreed upon. The rabbits kept our toddler entertained while we got set up for the night. The location gave us a reason to buy a new fishing rod.

It was lound during day, noises a lot, lack of privacy, leaf blower next to us, trimming next to house, while opened cabins doors - kid came to the doors to water plants, while we were half naked and sleeping.

The shower was either burning hot or freezing cold. The water pressure for cold water was really low.

Super location. Beautiful surroundings. Cute animals and friendly host family with adorable children. Sauna was really good. Shallow lake. Be careful not to get stuck in a knee deep mud like I did 😅.

The calmness and there was so much to see and do especially with children. We saw so much wildlife.

The treehouse was open and ready for us. The host did not speak English and I didn't speak Latvian, so we communicated through whatsapp. The host was extremely responsive, friendly and helpful.
