Lithuaniaa great opportunity to relax from the hustle and bustle of the city and immerse yourself in the medieval atmosphere. Excellent staff, delicious food, beautiful surroundings, cozy rooms. Breakfast can be ordered upon arrival, very large portions. Generous and very tasty monk's dinner.

BelgiumJaunpils pils is a small and truly beautiful medieval castle. It has a small museum and an amazing restaurant. Staying in the castle is a very special experience, I stayed in the Medieval room with a nice bath and a very beautiful fireplace. The food was delicious and I loved the beer from the local brewery. When you stay in the castle, the visit to the museum is free, and we also visited the mill.

EstoniaI wanted to drink coffee in the evening and in the morning but there was no coffee maker in room and the restaurant closed at 19 and opened at 9.30. We bought the kettle and cups from the store.
A beautiful old castle with comfortable boutique hotel inside. A good restaurant in the courtyard and an interesting museum next door. Tastefully decorated room and nice bathroom.

LatviaA very pleasant stay at Jaunpils Castle – warm welcome and hospitality, delicious and generous breakfast, excellent dinner. Spacious room with a beautiful view of the lake. And the fireplace in the room also is a big bonus. Lovely atmosphere, perfect place for a peaceful getaway. Thank you– we truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. We will gladly recommend this wonderful place to our friends!

LatviaThe water pressure is not enough and the boiler(?) size is not enough to quickly fill the bathtub with warm water. Luckily they have a kettle available, so we were filling with lukewarm water and poured several kettles of boiling to get our bath. The bed squeeks a bit, but luckily not enough to wake up our toddler.
This was our 4th stay there, 3rd in this room, so everything was as expected already. Great room, good lighting that can be turned up or down, nice view from the window, very nice, polite staff.

Amazing place with a historical feel. The room was great and very comfy beds. The food was excellent. The staff was very helpful when we arrived a bit late and almost missed check in time an the closing of the restaurant.

EstoniaFor the money we paid and for the type of room (deluxe room) we expected more. The room was quite empty and the renovation was done with very cheap materials and poor quality, also quite tasteless and not comfortable. Several things in the bathroom were broken.
The location is nice, staff is very welcoming and helpful, breakfast (for extra fee) was good, portions were enormous. View from the room window was very nice. The place is also pet-friendly.

Latviarooms are not castle-type, some look too soviet, and stairs to the third floor the same as in soviet hospitals... also we had some issue in the evening, and no administration workers left in castle for a night and so couldnt help us
