Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. EstoniaWe stayed two nights. The room had musty smell, when we arrived. It took some ventilating to disappear. Bath-room did not correspond to the price of the room. If the establishment is advertised as "hotel & spa", then one expects, that spa is accessible with a reasonable price. At least in Estonia all Spa-hotels have 3-4 hour spa visit included in the room price. In Kakitis we were offered the visit for 120 EUR, so it is more like East-European rental-sauna for events, not really a spa. We avoided the breakfast, as they asked 15 EUR/nose. I guess it is a general problem with the hotels, nowadays. They are losing income because of the overpricing. It is always reasonable to take your breakfast somewhere else, often at the next street corner.
The hotel is situated in a beautiful location. The room was OK, nothing special, though. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

LithuaniaAlthough it was stated that breakfast was available for an extra charge, on the days of our visit (Monday and Tuesday) it wasn’t possible to have breakfast in the morning, so we had to drive into town. Additionally, upon arrival there were fewer sleeping arrangements than we had booked (there were five of us, but only two double rooms were prepared). Later, the issue was resolved by adding an extra bed in one of the double rooms, but this caused inconvenience after a long journey with the kids. Considering we were the only guests, the service and communication were average; the on-site staff couldn’t provide some of the information we needed, and we had to call the owner separately. In the end, we decided not to ask for compensation for the smaller room, free coffee, or even a simple apology for the inconvenience, as communication with the owners just didn’t work out. We just wanted to leave as quickly as possible.
The hotel is in a beautiful location with a stunning view. We stayed during the winter, so the kids really enjoyed sledding from the nearby small hill. The rooms are spacious and clean.

EstoniaWould recommend to try it out and will be staying there when next time on Sigulda! And special shout out to all the hotel workers. We had really late check-in (23.05), due horse racing competition and all went still smoothly and they waited us until then.
It is situated in a beautiful nature area, but small drive away from everything in Sigulda. And I recommend to use their climbing tracks when traveling with family (used second day), not Tarzan park (went third day). Why? Much less crowd + difficulties were for every level. We did not have time to eat too much at the restaurant, but it is situated in the beautiful house looking down the hill and into a river in the valley.

EstoniaThe air conditioning in our room wasn't working properly. It didn't cool or dry the air. Also you could hear the fan outside.
Location of the property was really good. It was not busy, so we enjoyed a lot of privat time on the whole property, in the spa and also had quiet breakfasts. Surrounding nature was really beautiful as welcomed us with extreme thunderstorm on 1st night.
