The location it's perfect. Nice view.

The breakfast wasn't good. They asked to pay for the cat 🐈 20 euros per night. The room for 2 adults cost 57 euros. it's non sens to pay for cat 20 euros.

Only window in the room was entrance and door didn't open diagonally, so it's impossible to sleep with open window if don't want to leave open access to your room

We stayed at the hotel for a night, everything was really nice except breakfast. Beautiful restaurant terrace view.

It’s not worth to order breakfast there, extremely disappointing, cold and tasteless. But the terrace view is beautiful.

Quiet place in the middle of nature, beautiful view of the valley

There’s absolutely nothing around, it’s minimum 30min walking distance to the small village of Sigulda. Public transportation are very limited, so if you do not have a car you should choose a better option. No AC in the room, no fridge, and some rooms are very close to the main room which can be noisy. The SPA needs to be booked long time in advance or you won’t be able to use it. Price is excessive (150€ for 2 hours).

The restaurant downstairs close at 8pm already even though they have a nice terrace perfect for enjoying the views and a nice dinner.

The location was good. Nice river view. Good breakfast, close to other places in Sigulda.

Would have been good to have a refrigerator in the 4-person room. Maybe it was available to order, but it was not in standard room.

The surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful, and there is a small playground with swings, which our children enjoyed.

The booking was made for “Kaķitis Hotel”, but we were accommodated in a different building – above the Murr Café, on the second floor. This was not made clear in advance, and as we were traveling with small children, it was a real shock upon arrival. The rooms lacked cleanliness, and we were disappointed with the condition overall. There was also a lack of communication regarding breakfast – there was no information about the menu or what would be served. Both adults and children were given the same food (sausages, fried eggs, bacon), which many children don’t eat for breakfast. As a result, food was wasted unnecessarily. The whole experience felt disorganized and not family-friendly.

The hotel is situated in a beautiful location. The room was OK, nothing special, though. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We stayed two nights. The room had musty smell, when we arrived. It took some ventilating to disappear. Bath-room did not correspond to the price of the room. If the establishment is advertised as "hotel & spa", then one expects, that spa is accessible with a reasonable price. At least in Estonia all Spa-hotels have 3-4 hour spa visit included in the room price. In Kakitis we were offered the visit for 120 EUR, so it is more like East-European rental-sauna for events, not really a spa. We avoided the breakfast, as they asked 15 EUR/nose. I guess it is a general problem with the hotels, nowadays. They are losing income because of the overpricing. It is always reasonable to take your breakfast somewhere else, often at the next street corner.

Amazing nature around the hotel, right next to Gauja river bank, great views. Super peaceful. Room was very big and comfortable, clean and functional.

Would have loved a small fridge and decent table. Steep stairs to second floor. Prices for spa quite steep.

The view was fantastic. Even though it was raining I got to watch sunset from my window. There were very comfortable chairs for that.

There was no fridge in the room.
