We stayed in the building where the restaurant is located on the ground floor. Unfortunately, the welcome was quite unpleasant — Two women greeted us upon arrival, both were completely unfriendly. One of them, who seemed to be in training (though that’s not the issue), kept staring at us the entire time, which was extremely uncomfortable and inappropriate. The second woman, who seemed to be training her, served us dinner later in the evening. At first everything seemed fine, but the steak I ordered was extremely dry. When she asked how the food was, I told her that everything was good, but the steak was really dry. Instead of offering to replace it, remake it, or make any kind of gesture, she seemed offended and said it was because I chose medium-well. I’ve had medium-well steaks many times, and they were always juicy and tender. This kind of response felt very unprofessional and left a bad impression. Additionally, there were no tea or coffee facilities provided in the room.

Overall, the property was excellent. The SPA was outstanding, with all services delivered to a very high standard. The SPA receptionist was a true professional – extremely polite and attentive.

We had a wonderful stay at Nurmuiža. The manor is beautiful, with a lovely and well-kept park and blooming flower beds. The interior is stylish and cozy. Breakfast was very tasty and fresh. We also loved the small, thoughtful touches in the room — it made us feel very welcome. Peaceful and charming place. Highly recommend!

The hotel, surroundings, and spa were fantastic, the area was big and full of interesting experiences. Unfortunately, the staff was quite rude and poorly managed a minor incident during our stay, leaving a negative impression of the hotel's hospitality. Hope the problem with staff is solved soon, it is definitely not at the hotel’s level.

Some minor improvements needed - we were missing a proper mirror in our room, as well as some hangers for towels missing right beside the shower spot.

There were nice surroundings, park, garden, ponds, polite staff, well equipped kitchenette for coffee, tea making, with fridge, glasses, cups, etc. We enjoyed the restaurant in the evening, it was excellent. The breakfast in the morning was good - there was a plate with meat, cheeses, bread, butter, tomato, cucumber, melon and watermelon. And there was a choice between eggs, omelette, pancakes and something else for the main course.
