How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

My stay at this hotel was very disappointing. The room was not clean, there were no blankets provided, and the balcony door didn’t open properly. The chairs were dirty, and the air conditioner was in such bad condition it made me feel sick. Overall, everything about the room was negative and far below expectations.

Started with the room which wasn’t what I expect for a 4 star hotel , I know the hotel it’s a very old but the rooms could be renovated but , the other issue was the lifts, you have to wait for longtime especially if you stay in top floors and I think it’s because the hotel is busy so if it’s possible to void the high season in this hotel would be better

Unclean rooms. We did the first day the cleaning by ourselves and towels were black after the cleaning. We were also bitten by something in beds (maybe bedbugs) The restaurant was the worst experience with a queu of 15 min to get orange juice, because of the orange juice machine (the one that we found in supermakets) is blocking. The buffet was very poor too. We decided to get breakfast in the room kitchen Garden and green spaces are not maintained Very old facilities (including the pool terrace and flooring) Probably my worst experience. This hotel deserves much more since it is in a very good location and got a nice space/area. To be fare, the 2 rooms suite was big, if only was correctly renewed. And the tennis court was probably, with the nice location the best things in this hotel.

Verified reviewThe location is fantastic and the view from our premium sea view room was brilliant. The swimming pool is a great size and the animation team were very entertaining! Most of the staff were lovely and worked so hard. The breakfast has a good selection and the bed was very comfortable.
The room was not very clean when we arrived and things like toiletries and coffee pods were missing. The room was “premium “ but the furniture is not great quality. The lifts are very slow and rickety and we got trapped in one for about 20 mins with no communication from staff about what they were doing to help. This was a frightening experience.

Found the hotel to be average but we enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, my partner got bitten by bed bugs which was unacceptable and unpleasant. We would stay again, but we would be inspecting the bed with a fine-tooth comb. Hotel is in a great location.

Room service is a bit sloppy, they would collect the towels in the morning but then would not return them till evening, sometimes as late as 7-8pm, so if you spend a day by the pool, and then planning to have a shower and head out for dinner, you might have to manage with no towels!

Absolutely disappointing for what is supposed to be a 4-star hotel. The staff at the breakfast service were completely unfriendly – you feel like they’ve been forced to work in a salt mine. Zero hospitality, zero smile, just rude stares. The breakfast itself was a disaster: stale bread, cheap ingredients, and no variety. Definitely not what you would expect for this price range. Overall, this was one of the most overrated hotel experiences I’ve had. Terrible breakfast, rude staff, poor service, overpriced, and no sense of quality control. Strongly not recommended – look elsewhere if you want a real 4-star experience.
