Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

We had a room with a shared bathroom, and there is only one bathroom (toilet and shower together) to be ashared by all the rooms. Sometimes someone was taking a shower singing for 30 min, which is totally ok, but there was no option for toilet at this point...
Very nice owners, beautiful terrace, well equipped kitchen, quite neighborhood yet in the touristy part of the town

Location is high up the hill and a 10min walk from the beach, but no complains
Friendly staff, had a great time. We booked surflessons and had a lot of fun learning! They also booked the taxi to the airport for us without any problems.

A lovely, chilled vibe in the town. Rahma and Xabi were great hosts - super friendly and helpful with suggesting places to go and helping with taxis. They also put on a dinner which was a great family feel.

A little hard to find, a sign would be great but I figured if out. I just needed to walk around the building.
The couple who run this place are beautiful people. I felt welcomed from the first moment. Rooms are cosy and spacious. Lovely roof terrace and incredible value. I would stay here again in a moment.

Arima Surf House is a fantastic place to stay in Tamraght! I spent five days here and had an amazing time. The staff ' Rahma, Xavi and Mable were incredibly friendly, and helpful, always willing to go the extra mile to make sure I had a great experience. Junito, I see you. You're amazing and hope to see you soon again. The hostel itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The common areas were inviting and provided a great place to relax and meet other travellers. The location was perfect, with easy access to all the major attractions and public transportation. I would highly recommend Arima House Surf to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Tamraght or Taghazout. It's a great value for money and offers a fun and social atmosphere. I loved it and will definitely come back.

Nice quiet location with an amazing view of the sea/setting sun from the roof terrace. The staff were super friendly and helpful with everything from restaurant recommendations to surfboard hire. We also booked a surf lesson with them which was great and we would totally recommend. Breakfast was nice and they do a vegan option which was pretty unheard of during our particular Morocco trip. We'd definitely stay again.

Arima surf house is a really cute stay, located in a quiet area of Tamraght. The staff was really nice and easygoing, the room was clean and the building has a cute and cozy rooftop. Recommended!

Wonderful big room with clean and warm shower. Cosy kitchen that we didnt use though still possible if you want. The owners took good care of us when i felt a bit under the weather one day with a fresh ginger honey tea. Much appreciated. There is parking space just next to the hotel. If you have a car, this place is great.

Noise carries a bit through house. Not really a problem just something to note for those staying in garden room if you are light sleepers.
Super friendly hosts. Nice roof top hang out space Comfortable and clean with nice decor. Great value!

The house is really clean and nicely equipped. The two hosts are the best we had in our stay in Morocco. They were really nice! We did a surf course with them and had the best time and were able to improve a lot. We did came again during our vacation and would come again in the future.
