I loved my stay at the atlantic, the staff is very friendly and they made me feel at home talked to me and showed me the best places to eat and go out!

Staff member are so kind and helpful from the beginning thanks Mohamed and other members,I did enjoy 2 nights and happy to be there 100% recommended

Dirty place, not spacious, very crowded 16 beds in one room, dirty beds. I wish I could say our stay was a nightmare I could wake up from, but unfortunately, the reality of this hostel was worse than any bad dream. We stayed for just one night—and that was one night too many. First and foremost, the cleanliness was appalling. The floors were sticky, the sheets looked like they hadn’t been changed in days (if at all), and there was a pervasive, musty odor throughout the entire dorm. It smelled like a mix of old socks, mildew, and stale food—so strong it made it hard to breathe, let alone sleep. We were placed in a 16-bed dorm, which was already overcrowded and claustrophobic. But the absolute lowest point of our stay was witnessing an elderly woman—clearly exhausted and trying to rest—being completely disrespected by a group of young girls who stormed into the room shouting, laughing, and jumping on the beds. She politely asked them to quiet down, only to be mocked and ignored. Eventually, she broke down in tears and started yelling at them, demanding they leave her alone. It was heartbreaking and degrading to watch. She even called the police because the situation was so out of control and the staff did nothing. Save yourself the stress, the smell, and the moral discomfort. This hostel is poorly managed, disgustingly unclean, and utterly disrespectful to its guests. I wouldn’t wish this place on my worst enemy.

I had a nice stay at Atlantic Hostel in Essaouira. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, with a great location close to the medina and the beach. It’s a good spot for meeting other travelers and enjoying the city’s relaxed vibe. The staff were friendly and helpful, always making sure guests felt comfortable. The rooftop is a great place to relax and enjoy the fresh sea breeze. Overall, it’s a good choice for travelers who want a sociable and budget-friendly place to stay in Essaouira.

The fact that this hostel is literally a multicultural hub, the amount of different people that check in and check out daily is fascinating, I managed to make friends from all over the world. Its really fascinating how this hostel brought us together. Definetly coming back next year.

Location was excellent once I found it, I had no WiFi. Taxi from ctm station to medina was only 8dirhams, Bed was comfy, staff were lovely and welcoming. 2 showers and 4 toilets on my floor, and never needed to wait so no complaints, fab rooftop. Overall a great budget hostel

The fluffy blanket, I dislike them as I'm sure they aren't washed after each guest like sheets are.
