Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe entrance to the auberge is through the market place and was a little bit untidy, partly due to the market having taken place the day before and the rain. We had a warm welcome from Abdessamad who was very helpful during our stay. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was fine

PhilippinesWe were advised to go to the sister auberge for dinner. The walk was down a long unlit country path, when there tagine was more expensive than else where locally, but we felt we had to stay after the 20 min walk by the auberge staff, the food took over an hour to arrive and was an average quality but freshly cooked.
Pretty garden and terrace, very close to town. Monday market was right outside

SpainThe hotel is not nicely located. It’s nice to stay inside but the moment one steps out of the place they find themselves in a dirty little town. There is no nature around. Poor internet - secure your own data if you need to work.
Quiet and very helpful staff with very good English.

United KingdomThe new staff member was annoying constantly trying to get us to go to the bigger sister hotel with a pool. There is no pool here, even though it says there is. It feels a little abandoned for the bigger more expensive sister hotel, but this one was more our style and budget.
Breakfast was excellent. The sunny terrace was beautiful in the morning and cool and relaxed in the evening, with the scent of jasmine flowering. A lovely quiet retreat after being in Marrakech. We moved to the other (disused) terrace in the evening to watch the locals in the river and on the rickety bridge, which we loved.

AustraliaPlease note there are 2 places named Ayam Atlas. They are sister sights but one is more upmarket with restaurant, pool and farm. The Auberge does not have a restaurant on site. The road to the town on Google maps does not exist. You need to find the new road which has no lighting at night. The locals use a makeshift foot bridge as a shortcut to cross the river. Try it if you're game! Since the highway and bridge collapsed, taxis don't come past the Auberge and will charge you extra to take you from the town.
Great place to relax. Quiet and peaceful. Lovely staff.

The bed and breakfast is located in a nice farm near ourika village. we liked the mud built walls, all the plants planted in and around the house. the house was built around a hall way with sky view. the rooms were clean and had a very calm vibe to them. the beds were very comfy, the best we had in morocco. Very clean, everything was new and smelled exquisite. the staff were very hospitable and went an extra mile to attend to our needs. the breakfast was super fresh, coming from their own farm. bread was baked while we wated. Definitely worth every penny.

CanadaIt was a little hard to find, not exactly on a street, but on a dirt laneway. Having to drive 10 minutes to the restaurant was inconvenient, although it is in a lovely spot.
The room was a good size, comfortable, with two windows. The shower was hot and had plenty of water. The food was excellent. The host Ali was very friendly and helpful.

RussiaThey also own a restaurant nearby where one can eat. It's generally very tasty there but service is not great. Once we had to wait for our dinner for an hour even though we ordered dishes in advance. The waiter haven't even say sorry
