Found at the entry point to the small infamous Safran town of Taliouine, this humbly priced hotel was a pleaser to spend two nights in. Didn't get a chance to investigate its Amazigh history, cultural roots, natural beauty, and mountainous surroundings, however, it served as a great place to stop off, kick back and relax, before heading back on to the road, pushing into new ground. The service was good, which of course equally made the stay comfortable.

I thought a little expensive. It would have been better if breakfast was included.

Nice room, good size, clean and comfortable. Great location, on the edge of town, but not too far to walk. Substantial breakfast.

Beds were uncomfortable, air con didn't work and it was very hot a stuffy especially with a baby. Rooms were very noisy and as we couldn't close the windows as the air con didn't work we were kept awake by very noisy street dogs Barling all night. We felt the food was a little overpriced and portions a but tight, especially in comparison to what we have had on the rest of our trip.

It’s a little run down, basic and tired (bathroom, towels/linen etc)

Inexpensive friendly place to stop for a night on the way through. Parking right outside, swimming pool for the kids, big room for 5 people.

The wifi is not the best, there are a few networks for different parts of the auberge but still the connection was often lost when in the room and using the network that should work there. If you order food and get a bottle of water served with it, it is not free, they add it to your bill. It doesn't cost much but it would be nice to not have hidden costs.

4-people room is ok for a short stay, this is literary one big room divided into two but there is no door between the two parts and very little space in general. One part contains a small bathroom which is enough, but everything in it is a bit wonky. But it does the work. It would be better to install the lock on the inside of the bathroom than outside though :D Very nice view from the window. Nice linen and towels provided. You can order food downstairs, it is tasty, slightly more expensive than the same tajins in restaurants in bigger cities. The staff is very friendly. Free parking available in front of the property. Sadly, we didn't get to use the pool due to the wheather, but it looked nice. You can meet interesting people in the restaurant downstairs and have a chat.

It's out of town and wifi was unpredictable.

Hostel on the edge of town, with mountain views. Great terrace and lounge. Sit down flush toilets a bonus. Shop nearby plus parking and bike storage.

Clean room with Comfortable bed. Air conditioning heater worked well. A good shower. Good breakfast. Plenty of outdoor seating areas. The fittings are somewhat ‘tired and worn’ but it was quite quirky with bright decor. The place has character.

There were 5 beds in our room. 2 Were hard like stone, the others quite soft. Dirty swimming pool. No hot water. No functioning aircon/heating. Overall the hotel needs a bit of care! Noisy other guests late at night and early morning.

Nice building with lots of Moroccan details. Friendly staff. Clean towels and sheets.

Rooms are rather small and simply furnished.

Simple, but sufficient. Nice terrace and they offer also dinner in house. Nice common space on second floor.

Great place to stay on the way to M”hamid. Dinner and breakfast were good. Room is basic, all you need. Hot water was great. Internet speed was fast.

The shower didn't work

The door locks were not working very well. The keys jammed on room 10. The remainder was good

It was great for us on a motorbike adventure. We had secure parking in the complex over night for the hired motorcycle.

After our trip to the dessert, we stayed in Taliouine for one night. The Auberge has everything you need. In the evening we also enjoyed a delicious meal with saffron.
