Many parts of the property seemed fairly neglected. There is a really nice terrace but it lacks lights and comfortable furniture. Also the toilet in my bathroom didn’t really work well. I also didn’t really like the fact that I didn’t have a key to get in myself. I was totally reliant on the host to be there to let me in.

Having your own bedroom and bathroom for the price is amazing. The room was also very comfortable and the host was very friendly, he helped me find a guide for Toubkal.

The location is incredible. View from the room on the photo. Bear in mind this is a hostel, so don't expect posh for the price. Lovely young couple run it. They are having a lot of renovations, done, but it didn't detract from the location, which was excellent. A backpackers paradise.

The house is beautiful and peaceful. It was a joy staying there Communication with said the owner was excellent He was incredibly helpful kind and,always checking in to make sure we are comfortable and enjoying our stay. Highly recommended

The only positive aspect of this stay was the view of the river. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was very disappointing. The room was dirty, and the sanitary facilities were in very poor condition — no toilet paper, no towels, and visible signs of dampness on the walls accompanied by a bad smell. Renovation work was ongoing during our stay, and the manager didn’t even bother to inform us beforehand, despite the fact that we had called prior to arrival. The terrace was not equipped as shown in the photos on Booking.com. To make matters worse, the manager was never on-site, and there was no one available to assist us. The room didn’t have a lock, which meant we had to leave our belongings unsecured whenever we went out. The lighting was also extremely poor. Imlil is a beautiful place, but this terrible accommodation completely ruined our stay.

ABAMDONNED BUILDING. Like bro there was absolutely nothing there. No one anwsered when we wrote to see if anyone was working there and no one answered when I asked for a refund.

Nothing... it was an abandonned building with no one working there. We had to find another place to stay and didnt get a refund from Burj Toubkal.

Staying in the Atlas Mountains was a dream I came up from Marrakesh into Imlil which was picturesque. Then I followed my Sat Nav which took me to a street with an Iron bar in the road locked to the road.so I went another way. I came to a bend in the road which had ice and snow on it and was impossible for me to pass. A man threw some chippings on the road so his van would pass and I followed him up the hill I found the accomodation perched on top of a cliff hence the mountain and vally views but there was no one there including other guests I had no phone minutes and it was starting to get dark and the road up there started freezing So I went back into the town and had a meal I tried to get another hotel and he refused my booking, then I had to be helped back to my car because I had a chest collapse.There seemed to be no oxygen in the freezing air. Once in the car I put the heating on and made my way back to Marrakech That was the end of my mountain dream and I'll never go back I think I would have died if I'd have stayed there and I slept in my car. for two nights as I'd lost my accomodation

Said (the host) was so kind and he was really willing to help us with the whole ascension organization, you’ll never feel alone or lost with him . The breakfast was so good , you can find traditional amazigh food such as Amlou . The main lobby room was full of charm and the indoor entrance is under construction for the better ! <3

I really appreciated the kindness and the welcoming of Said. From the start he explained that I should go to Armed to find the hotel and when I got there he explained how to get to the store, how to go to the mosque and he answered all my questions. He really made me feel welcome from the beggining and I really appreciated the amazigh hospitality. We had a really interesting conversation about Toubkal, amazigh languages and Moroccan culture at breakfast time. I really liked the cleaness of the rooms and the quality of the service. He had a welcome gift from me and that was wonderful. Thank you very much Said for everything, see you very soon.

After longing for some solitude, the hermit's joy, I headed for the mountains. I found this quiet spot with views of Toubkal and have already stayed one week! Life is simple here and quiet, the perfect place to unwind. I'm a writer, working from my laptop, and find the setting inspiring. Best of all, the WiFi is fast, the owner is very friendly and the food is delicious :)

The location was fantastic! Said and his family are very welcoming. I stayed here for 3 weeks, and the last few days I was quite ill. Said insisted I stay 1 more night free of charge to make sure I was fit and well to continue my travels. The food Rachida cooks is delicious (tagines and traditional couscous) Thank you so much for a wonderful stay 😊

Everything was perfect. Said is a very welcoming and genuinely nice person. If you ask, he will prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner for you that is exquisite! The house itself was clean. The beds were comfy and very warm. It is a little bit hard to get there, even by car, but the views are paying it off. We will definitely return!
