Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United Kingdom❌ The downside: The biggest negative was the smoking. Many guests, mainly French, smoked anywhere they liked – around the pool, at the outdoor café, and really in any outdoor area. Ash was flicked about without care, and when the hotel was busy in the evenings the cigarette smoke made it quite unpleasant and, at times, downright disgusting. It often felt like they didn’t care about anyone else around them, which spoiled the atmosphere in the evenings.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Everything was very clean, and we could definitely see the improvements made in the grounds maintenance – it looked lovely and well cared for. There was a good choice of food, with something for everyone, and the all-inclusive option made it super easy and stress-free. I’d happily recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a relaxed, easy holiday.

United KingdomIt was expensive and didn’t really live upto the standard compared to other all inclusive hotels. The staff were not as welcoming, I feel this was because I was an hijabi, the response from them was aloof and I had to ask the same request multiple times 😔
It was relaxing and a getaway

United KingdomThe "fitness centre" was a series of running machines which were temperamental or unsafe in a space next to the indoor pool with cockroaches and no air conditioning. There was no shelf space and very few hangers in the room. £10 deposit for towels which had to be cash so ££ tied up until end of holiday - would be better if you could just charge it to the room.
Fantastic selection of pools and access to the small aquaparc in the neighbouring hotel. Wonderful animation team with activities through the day to keep the family entertained. All inclusive was great value with great with large selection of good quality food and drinks.

United KingdomWe had a fantastic time at Valeria Atlas Hotel Marrakech! The rooms were spotlessly clean and the facilities were absolutely brilliant – from the pool to the spa, everything was well-maintained and enjoyable. A special shoutout to the entertainment team who kept us busy and smiling all day with fun activities and shows – they really made the experience memorable. The food was exceptionally good, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The desserts in particular were to die for – we looked forward to them every single day! The only slight downside was that the hotel is a bit out of the way, so we had to get a taxi each time we wanted to go into central Marrakech. But honestly, it wasn’t a big issue and was well worth it for the relaxing environment the hotel offers. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, fun, and food-filled getaway!

United KingdomSome savoury snacks would have been good to have available during the day, not just sweet pastries. Need money for everything, deposit for towels, safe, and to print boarding passes (20 dhs per sheet seemed quite expensive). Was told by receptionist it would cost 200 dhs to airport just needed to walk out via gate and then got out no one wanted to take us, insisted on 250 which we no longer had. In the end a nice taxi driver decided to take us with us cutting it fine to the airport. Smart TV with Youtube etc would have been useful for kids in the room. Also, the fact you have to pay for certain drinks means it's not fully all inclusive.
Nice, spacious , clean rooms. Beautiful, peaceful grounds. Great food. Lovely, fun animation team.

United KingdomShower cubicle in bathroom needs a door to prevent flooding. Bathrooms could do with an upgrade but were clean.
Loved beautiful gardens. There was an ornamental lake with fountains , very tame ducks & peahens, & waking up to birdsong was very relaxing. The outdoor pools were stunning & there was a good sized heated indoor pool. Also loved the zen pool & spa available at sister hotel next door. Friendly helpful staff. Tasty cuisine. Fun activities./ entertainment. Excellent spa treatments Rooms in traditional Riads were comfortable & quiet away from main building with bar/ restaurant/theatre/ nightclub. Shuttle bus to historic centre. Excellent value for money in my opinion.

HungarySmall annoying indisciplines: you have to hunt for cutlery at meals. So much for those with food allergies! they pay attention to which food contains which allergen, but there were not enough spoons for the bowls to use, so everyone used them back and forth, thus the gluten-containing foods easily got into the non-gluten-containing dishes. The price of this was diarrhea for us. the opening hours of the indoor pool are also unreal: closed until 5 p.m. and between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. This is obviously annoying when you cannot swim in the outdoor pools because they are so cold.

MoroccoOld and run down facilities. The rooms were tired and looked dirty. No heated pool. No kids club even though it was listed as an amenity. When we arrived at the front gate, we were given a list of all the guests names and asked to find ours -- total lack of security and privacy, because we could see all the names☹️
The staff was nice. The garden area was beautiful and my daughter loved the ducks and pond.

United KingdomThe reception desk was not very helpful and we didn't feel the welcome we expected for the money we paid. No one explained how to find our room or how to get to the Aquapark. It took ages to get orientated with everything. Our room was ok but we didn't have enough towels and some linen and towels were stained. The food options were great but 3 out of 4 of us didn't feel well after eating.
The hotel was lovely and had a great pool, entertainment and a fab waterpark too. The all inclusive options worked well. The location was great and a very good way to explore Marrakech but relax too. The entertainment department was great.

United KingdomFood choices not great for vegetarians or pescatarians. And I also found the food a bit heavy for my stomach. Breakfast had omelettes which was good. I liked the salads but a lot of the time it contained ham. Buffet area would run out of plates, bowls etc, I don’t think it helped that most of the customers piled up mountains of food to share in the middle of their table, wasting plates and bowls (and food). Drink options very limited, only vodka, whiskey and gin for spirits, or you had to pay equivalent of about £7 for spirit of your choice or a cocktail.
Both pools were lovely. Loved the pretty trees and flowers. Good entertainment. Lobby area had a nice feel to it. Able to watch sports on the tv. Night club open after 11. Shower worked well, always had hot water. Unfortunately had giant ants in our first room which they said must have been caused by previous guests bringing food back to their room, we were however kindly moved to a new room. Bottles of wine available for lunch and dinner. Staff lovely, especially the bar and entertainment staff. Loved all the cats around the hotel. Glad we chose this hotel over the sister hotel as we visited there for lunch and found the buffet very stressful, people were pushing in it wasn’t a nice environment. We loved the chill cushion seating area above the pool bar - shame it isn’t used as a proper bar, such a nice area!!!!

United KingdomThe staff were not friendly. Only one guy at reception who we spoke to the day before we left. The room was cold and the ‘heater’ was blowing cold air. There were cats everywhere, especially in the restaurant which was quite annoying. The towels were off white and looked over used. The drain was almost blocked so we had to shower quickly to avoid a flood. The food was tasteless and not much variety, deserts were nice
The fact it was all inclusive so we didn’t have to worry about finding food in the neighbourhood because there was nowhere to get food from near by.

United KingdomThe food is very bad, no flavour at all. There is not variety, and for long stays, the food becomes quite boring. The plates are not always clean, and the breakfast pancakes are often burnt and undercooked
The facilities are good with various activities for children and adults. The staff, especially the activities staff are quite friendly. The pools and rooms are generally clean.

United KingdomWe did not like the food at all! Of the 7 days we stayed there, we only ate from the buffet approximately 5-6times and most of it was like just Fries at lunch or just coffee at breakfast because we weren't a fan of the food at all. There needs to be a wider variety of different foods that suit all ages and ethnicities, especially with the resort being full of different people from all around the world. The food was what really put our rating down. Also, as I said earlier, with the bar being a really good addition, I was not a fan of the fact that you have to pay for drinks after 11.
The staff were incredible. Yassine, Tamir, ines, and yahya were exceptional staff members. Always made us feel at home and involved with all activities and entertainment. The facilities were also great, and the open bar was also a very nice addition. All in all, a really good hotel to stay at.
