Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustriaOnly fairly clean unfortunately. We were quite surprised as other reviews stated it as clean. Please see the photo of the sponge we found under the sink, it speaks for itself. No basics so had to buy cleaning products for 10€ right at arrival and did a rough clean ourselves. No shower gel or shampoo either. Luckily had some leftover from a previous hotel we stayed at. 2 small toilet rolls for a whole week were also disappointing. Therefore bought toilet paper ourselves as well. Table in living room has seen better days and literally needs to be disposed. See photo for reference. Messaged the host to say that 4 lights were broken that he wanted to fix after our stay. Would’ve been nice to have a fully lit hallway and bathroom whilst we were there. To our surprise the closet came without a single hanger (?!). The green bed sheets weren’t washed and were slightly smelly. Bear in mind there’s a nonetheless beautiful Mosque opposite the building, that of course loudly calls to prayer at 5:30am. Furthermore the apartment faces an inner courtyard so neighboring noises are amplified at night through the shaft. Apartment does the trick for a short stay like a weekend. OK sized for a couple, even though it looked much bigger in the pictures online. Would not stay for a whole week again like we did (also no towel exchange). Kitchen only had the bare minimum. Funnily enough no forks. I feel like the apartment hasn’t been checked out by the host in a long time and only has a cleaning lady come round. It certainly isn’t cozy at all but could be updone easily! So fingers crossed for future guests.
Robin communicated swiftly and well and sent over a helpful check in manual. Location is good. Train station is in walking distance. Some cafes, a shop and a bakery and a restaurant are round the corner. We appreciated the access to the garage, as we travelled by car. Price value was ok to be fair.

United KingdomThe bedding - it needs a massive overhaul, also water tank way too small could barely fit a shower in before it went stone cold.
Well we've stayed in Maamoura before so we picked it for the location.

United KingdomNo sunlight. The studio is in the ground floor and faces the inside of the building.
Clean and modern style studio with lots of perks and convenience. I had all I needed, full kitchen with white goods (fridge, freezer, oven, washing machine, coffee machine) and all in prestine condition. Bathroom and shower are very clean and hot water is working fine. Also, the owner left a couple of fresh clean towels for extra convenience. The studio has a centralized AC (hot and cold) which is very convenient. The bedroom is spacious for one or two persons with a good size wardrobe.

ItalyThere was only one very heavy duvet that stank and not a single cover for this duvet. I could not use it because it is used by dozens of other guests and gets washed very rarely if ever (!). The air conditioning that doubles as heating is very noisy especially in the bedroom because the air conditioner is located 15 centimeters above the bedroom window and it sounds like an old tractor. I never switched the air conditioner after 22:00 because the neighbours have children and I felt it would distirb their sleep (without the air conditioner on the building is very quiet between midnight and 6 am). In an attempt to remedy this discomfort and having anticipated that it would be very cold at night with just a thin sheet (temperatures were as low as 4c at night for three of eight nights and only slightly above that during the rest of my stay) I went to an electrical shop and bought a small electric heater. Alas, even with the electric heater on I woke up every morning at 6 am feeling very cold (I could not put the electric heater inside the room because the furniture is made of wood and the bedroom is too small). This meant I slept only 4.5 or 5 hours every night and I became exhausted and my vacation was ruined. It was impossible to fall asleep after 06:30 am because some of the neighbours go out to school and to work and some go to the mosque that is opposite the building at 8 am. The entrance door inevitably shuts loudly (it takes a lot of care to shut it semi quietly from the outside)... If this is not bad enough there are some renovation works in an adjacent apartment and infants in the apartment above who use a mini scootie or something similar to ride back and forth during the afternoon. As a result of this noise (in fairness this was not constant but when you try to nap and the renovation team bangs and shakes the entire house for twenty minutes you will surely wake up!
The neighbourhood and proximity to the train station. . The building is very clean and there is cctv.

MoroccoI have liked everything about the stay. it was exceptional and exceeded my expectations. Easy self check-in and check-out. We even asked for a late departure the last day and the owner agreed without asking for extras or any of that. We really enjoyed our stay and as it is described it is a really a cozy and a quiet place.

I really appreciate for the kindness of the host Robin. I was looking for a house and I asked him and he gave me a website address. And I found my house in that website! :)) This really helped me a lot. If he didn't give me that , I wouldn't find the house. Thank you so much for your help. In addition, I asked several questions and he kindly answered me. I do not know anyone in this city but I felt like that I have someone who can help me and support me in this city . This is quite good and relieved feeling. The apartment was clean and quiet and very close from the train station. I could relax well here.
